About this bed and breakfast

Situated in Chico, this attractive bed and breakfast for $104 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Cute 1 bedroom guest house with large backyard in the Chico Avenues which is a nice quite neighborhood walking distance to downtown and Chico State. Newly updated bathroom and floors make the space feel welcoming and clean When staying here you will have access to the entire guest house and backyard, the back yard is shared with the main house. The guest house consists of a kitchen / livingroom space, bedroom and a bathroom. I am a former computer science student at Chico State and am now a software engineer at a local firm. I am happy to socialize when I am around and answer any questions about the area you have. Quite area located in the avenues of Chico Walking is the easiest way to get to downtown but if you decide to drive it is only a few minutes away.

This was a disappointing stay, as I have had much better experiences for a similar price. The couches are both badly stained and the kitchen chairs have wicker backings that are torn up. The coffee maker’s carafe was not cleaned, the silverware drawer had large crumbs inside of the tray, and one of the other kitchen drawers was being used to store Christmas lights. The shower does not have any door whatsoever and the shower head sticks out of the wall at a 90 degree angle and shoots straight down, with the result being a weird, bending maneuver or a full dunk which results in a floor so wet that it will take at least 2 towels to completely dry it. The floor in the bathroom is tile to boot, so be careful not to slip. The wifi information is not listed anywhere, so we had to contact the host for it. When they sent it over, we wrote it down and went out for the night, but when we got back and tried to connect it turned out that the information was wrong, and no amount of guessing different number and capital combinations fixed it. It was a simple password, like "word123", but it didn't occur to us that it could be something so inaccurate that it would be impossible to connect. If you need a place to stay, it works, but if you want to actively enjoy your surroundings you are likely better off staying somewhere else.

This place was perfect for my stay, it had all the necessities and was very clean! Location to CSUChico was perfect (5 min drive) as I was here dropping my son off at college. I’ll be sure to stay again when I come visit him!

We were visiting local college and place is within walking distance. We did not see the owner(s) while we were there but all was clearly described. Very clean.
