The location of this guesthouse is unbeatable! Being right in Bairro Alto meant everything was within short walking distance. Chiado was super close, and taking Tram 28 to Alfama was extremely easy. The location was especially ideal for our evenings, allowing us to drop by the room during the day to rest and head back out effortlessly. Even though Bairro Alto is a lively neighborhood, the double-glazed windows did a fantastic job, it was completely quiet inside and we slept great. The place was also very clean, and the price was excellent for such a prime location.
Since the unit came with a kitchenette (refrigerator, stovetop, and hood), it would have been nice to have basic cutlery and kitchen supplies in the drawers. We didn’t end up needing them, but it’s a helpful addition for guests who plan to use the kitchen (perhaps they are provided upon request, but they weren't in the room). Also, keeping a bit more stock of essentials like toilet paper would be great, as we had to buy our own when it ran out.

The location of the property was absolutely perfect, super close to all the sights and some amazing bars and restaurants but the hotel was so quiet!
The facilities were amazing, the hosts were really communicative and had a very handy app to download which had all the check in and out info. The check in was absolutely seamless.
The room was really generously sized and the bathroom facilities were top notch. Lovely little touches too like providing tissues, shower gel, and shampoo.
Overall it was great value for money, if I’d definitely recommend!

Location was great!
Size of the room. Not enough hooks for towels/coats.

The room was nice, especially the bathroom. The A/C worked great and was a big plus. In a great location for me.
Very hard mattress and treacherous entrance to the room. Very poorly designed entrance with uneven steps and awkward access to the room.
