We had a wonderful stay at the Monte Belvedere. Decent room, but the highlight had to be the rooftop breakfast room and terrace. Photos don't quite do it justice as they just don't capture the scale of the views! There was a good range of options available at the buffet breakfast, which was great to set you up for a day exploring. The hotel is well located, with tram stops being not too far away if you don't fancy longer walks. Staff were consistently helpful and friendly. I highly recommend going back to the rooftop terrace in the evening for a drink and to see the colours of the sunset.

Everything about this hotel exceeded all our expectations. The hotel staff were so friendly we instantly felt at home as soon as we arrived. The roof terrace is the perfect place for a long relaxed delicious breakfast. It is next to a famous viewing platform annd has views right across the river and the city. Breakfast was Unlimited great coffee, herbal teas and organic produce (they even make their own jams and chutneys!) There was also full cooked breakfast and an array of home made pastries, cakes and quiches.
The location is brilliant; walkable to everywhere and part of the old town- beautiful architecture and cobbled streets - locally dubbed the food district there are restaurants and bars on every street. It’s buzzy and friendly. Metro station and Main train station each within 10 min walk.
