Nestled in Arcata, this attractive condo for $191 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Downtown Digs Arcata home! Enjoy your stay with a shared sauna, hot tub & enclosed yard at this dog- friendly property. Only a short walk to downtown Arcata shops and restaurants, and a quick drive to the redwoods and beautiful north coast! Find yourself at this charming, completely remodeled, historic home with a full kitchen, dining area, and a nice seating area. Take advantage of the recently-completed, on-site lounge where you can warm up in the shared three-person, infrared sauna! Create your own story while you're here just as famous former resident, author Brett Hart, once did back in the 19th century! The large yard is shared by all and includes a gas BBQ and a fun, outdoor Ping-Pong table. We also have an area in the back area that is fenced off that you access from your back door. Things to Know: WiFi (83 mbps download speed, 25 mbps upload speed, 15ms latency) Full kitchen (antique Wedgewood stove) The family dog is welcome to join you here (1 dog max, $25 pet fee applies) Laundry, sauna and hot tub facilities shared with the two other units in triplex Four beach cruiser bicycles provided for use 1 40 AMP quick charge EV charger in driveway (shared with triplex) Quiet hours 9pm-7am You will asked to sign separate rental agreement sent to your email for e signature before receiving your check in info, as we are a small locally owned property management team. A note about cleaning fees: Our cleaning fee includes a linen fee and ensures our housekeepers are paid a living wage and are bonded and insured. * To accommodate groups of up to 11 guests (and three dogs), consider booking the entire home consisting of this rental as well as the other two properties, Downtown Loft and Downtown Drift. A damage waiver, covering up to $1,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation. Parking Notes: We cannot guarantee a spot in the driveway as they are shared between guests of all three units on a first come, first served basis. Ample street parking is available for guest use. On 10th Street, you can park right in front of the home between 4:00pm - 10:00am the following morning. Outside of these hours, there is a two-hour limit for street parking spots. There is no time limit across the street, so guests can park there anytime. Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. What's nearby: The location is great for walking to local cafes, restaurants, theaters, parks, and of course, Cal Poly Humboldt If you want to hit the beach, this rental is just four miles from Ma-le'l Dunes Park and five miles from Humboldt Beach and the Dunes Trail. And only 40 miles north, discover Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park and Lady Bird Johnson Grove Trail, with over 100 miles of hiking trails. We try to book this specific property every time we visit Arcata (we come on a yearly basis). It is clean, spacious, conveniently-located, well-stocked, cozy and - most importantly - pet-friendly. We have stayed at this property, including the upstairs loft since 2017. Minus 2020 due to Covid because we didn't travel, then 2021 because it was already booked.
The host is great and makes check-in a breeze. We love this place!

The property was lovely and quiet and centrally located. We could walk to everything! It was great to be able to bring our dog children and to have a fenced outdoor space for them to run and play. The hot tub was a perfect 104 degrees and it was nice to sit at the outdoor table!

The rental is centrally located and within walking distance of most downtown Arcata businesses. My favorite part? The lovely garden out front and long list of amenities that are waiting for visitors inside.

This place is located very close to restaurants and shops. We went to delicious Los Bagels almost every morning, and it was only a block away. There’s a backyard that allowed my dog to relieve himself whenever necessary. There was ample parking so we were able to park right by the house every time. The town is older and has a lot of character. The house is older as well, but it has everything we needed, including shared laundry machines in the garage. We didn’t take advantage of the bikes, sauna, or not tub, but we saw them there as well. The beds were very soft, maybe a little too soft, but the sheets were clean. The bathroom was also clean (though a little cramped, as older style homes are). if we ever come back to Arcata, we would definitely stay here again!

We were in town for a college visit, and could not have chosen a better location. We enjoyed being walking distance to downtown Arcata, and taking our pup along with us on walks and hikes. The property host/contact was responsive to communications, and we had a nice and relaxing stay. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the amenities, but would return again! Thanks!

Great place, close to Plaza, nice deck, perfect for catching the sun, even in February. Nice to have a sauna, whirlpool and ping pong table. Will come again, so don’t book when I need it!!!

Cozy property in the heart of Arcata. Heater works well to ward off those foggy moments. Might be good to have a dishwasher and to mark the beds soft and firm. This would help the visitor choose the appropriate bed and avoid extra laundry.

We love this property, and the other two properties that are attached to it. It has a great location where you can easily walk to the Square and nearby shops and restaurants. We have stayed at this location several times, and hope to stay there many times in the future.

My daughter and I loved this rental! We had a few questions for the owner over the 2 days we were there, and received responses within 10 minutes that completely addressed our issues (missing corkscrew, access to laundry facilities). The place is VERY clean, and is a few blocks from many Arcata restaurants, etc. We will definitely be back!

A perfect place to enjoy Arcata!
A very cute property, and perfect for my husband, teenage son and me. And our little dog. We didn't cook so I can't report much on the kitchen, though it's very sweet and looks functional, but we enjoyed having such a comfortable home base. The back yard was nice, too, though we didn't have time to take advantage of the hot tub or sauna. The best thing for us is that it's right in town so you can walk to the shops and to get coffee.

Cute Digs
My family, including our 2 small dogs, stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time! It was charming inside, had a spacious outdoor space, and the location to downtown can’t be beat. Kitchen worked well, although small, but the basics were there. Chris was extremely responsive to our questions. Definitely recommend!

Great proximity to downtown, very nice space
Can't beat the location! Just a few minutes' walk to all kinds of tasty food options and other necessities and the town square. (Don't miss Los Bagels!) Nice space that was perfect to relax in after hiking and exploring, and the hot tub went a long way to soothe sore muscles.

Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the sauna. We wish we had gone in the hot tub because it looks nice but we were too busy. Maybe next time. Excellent location.

This was such a great experience. I planned a hiking trip with my son and his girlfriend and my 90lb pitbull, Sasha. This was thee perfect place. It was quaint, clean and convenient. The host was so amazing and always available.

Most Adorable Cottage Style Getaway!!
