The property features hardwood floors throughout, a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, beachy-chic furniture, large TVs in the living room as well as in the main bedroom, a shared, furnished patio with a gas BBQ, and air-conditioning on the upper level. THINGS TO KNOW Only the third floor has air-conditoning. This property is managed by Vacasa Seasonal Inc. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. I was a little disappointed in the condition of the common area. The couch was on the verge of breaking, the leg was turned in ready to break and when sat upon it slopped to the middle. The two chairs were dirty. As I mentioned during our stay someone had thrown something on the ceiling leaving brown spots. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were clean, except for the master bath where a portion of the flooring was missing. The BBQ was not working and had to be replaced. We also had a problem with the dishwasher not working. We could not get it to stay on and wash the dishes. It may be we just couldn't figure it out. The location was good and close to restaurants.. When I called and reported the BBQ it was quickly replaced the next day.

this house is everything you need in a rental. You have enough rooms to sleep all of your friends, living room has plenty space to hang out. This is also less than a 5 minute walk to the beach so it is a perfect location. The house also came with lawn chairs for the beach and all sort of fun games.
I would definitely recommend for group of friends or family.

FIRST - the parking is falsely advertised. They say (2) car garage, tandem, but unless you have (2) small cars, you will never fit in there. They say it is 32’ deep, but the exit door opens inward and the owner has items at one end taking away 4+ feet of space. This leaves approx 28’. The avg. car length is 14.7’. PLUS, you have just enough space (width) open your door half way to squeeze out. And street parking was impossible due to time restrictions and minimal availability.
SECOND - There was a lot of water leaking under the sink. We immediately turned the water off and called VACASA. It was Friday at 5pm and I waited on hold for 15 min before using their chat option. It was useless!! We went the entire stay with no one coming to check it out and no kitchen sink use. I “chatted” with them daily asking for updates and only received the run around and scripted responses from their AI system. When I finally spoke to someone live, I also received scripted response and no resolution.
NEXT - the underside of the bed on the top bunk in the bunk bed room was in bad condition. It was torn apart and there were pieces of fabric that were hanging over the bottom bunk. Plus, the planks were thin and one fell off as they were getting in bed. They did not feel safe sleeping on top and slept on the couch.
LAST, there was a homeless person sleeping at our front door (then he moved to gated area when found) and we never felt safe afterward.

the place itself was nice however i felt a bit misled with the ac only on the top floor. the parking was a nightmare - there were cars across the street that create an issue backing into the spot. the next door neighbor had the same issue. ended up havgin to look for street parking and paid $120 in parking for the weekend. i emailed and texted vacasa with zero response other than its being "looked into" and no response was recieved. i also asked for late checkout given all the issues and was told its not part of the reservation and not one piece of grace was given for the parking issues. this is moreso a review of vacasa itself vs the home which was fine outside of the parking issues.

There were pros and cons to this property. Pros: location was good- less than a minute walk to bay boardwalk and Mission beach, and central to drive to a lot of places. The beds were comfortable and showers were good (and hot). The living area is very small especially for a large party, and as other reviews have commented, there is a steep stairway to get to the front door and another steep stairway inside the unit to get to the main living area. We used our pack and play to block the stairs, but it would be helpful if there was a baby gate guests could set up. There are good child plates/bowls/silverware. Two big problems we had- the garage is so narrow you can’t use it- if you can get the car into the garage, you can’t get out of the car. So if you don’t want to worry about parking on the street, this unit would not work for you. Also, the dishwasher did not work- it is a big hassle to reach Vacasa to report things- the phone holds and text pauses are long, and they did not fix the problem despite one local team member stopping over and texting us that we needed a factory repair person and that person not showing up (twice) for an appointment (and/or poor or no communication from Vacasa about whether the guy came to fix it or not, and what to expect next. You can also hear noise from the neighboring unit and I’m sure they could hear our little kids too. For the high price we paid, we would have expected better.

Location was perfect to walk to coffee shops and restaurants, the beach, Belmont Park, Mission Bay Sports Center. Comfortable beds and furnishings with plenty of room for our group of 7. Some minor maintenance issues that should be addressed but major problems. Kitchen appliances are all good.

The accomodations were just what we were looking for. The condo was clean and perfectly located. However, parking is a terrible problem. It says that it has a garage for two cars. It is super narrow (as stated in the small print) and there is little space to make the turn into the garage. When looking for street space, we had to go 1/2 mile away.

Property was great! Clean, quiet neighborhood and enough room for everyone. The one bit of advice, for families with little ones, is to bring along some sort of gate to help block off the stairs. We brought one along, which definitely helped with peace of mind (we have a 16 month old). Proximity to the beach (both bay and ocean side), to Sea World, to Legoland and Belmont park was excellent! We had the best time!

We were completely happy with the spacious and living conditions. A bed for everyone plus 3 bathrooms. We were close to the ocean and the bay, all within walking distance. It was a nice surprise to find beach chairs, sand toys and skimboards/ boogie board.the one drawback but not a game changer are the stairs which could be difficult for seniors.would recommit others and would rent again.

The house itself is wonderful. Spacious and open with an amazing master bedroom. The downstairs was great for the kids while the adults slept upstairs. On top of the house being great, the location is amazing. There is a beach to the east and a beach to the west, so if you want calm water you can head to the bay, but if you want waves you can head to the ocean. The house is on the edge of the food/shopping area, which made finding food and drink easy while being quiet at night. We has a great time!

One suggestion: in the bunk bed room, when laying on the bottom bunk and looking up,, the mattress cover for the upper bunk is torn up. Looks like someone put their feet through it.

This house is the perfect location to everything. Steps to the bay or the beach. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The house is modern and clean and plenty of room for two families. The only thing it lacks is a patio or rooftop off the main floor, but otherwise it’s a great house.

This was a great beach house for the 9 of us with excellent location to the bay and beach. However, it was awfully hot in the downstairs bedrooms. Wish there was AC there. Other than that everything was great. They even brought us beach towels at no extra cost when we asked.

For the littles, the bay was perfect for their swimming and floating capabilities. Then the beach side was perfect for everyone to use up their energy. We had all sorts of food options around and the liquor store 5 minutes away helped us when we needed ice for our coolers. The young adults had a night out and we all agreed that it really wasn’t a bad walk to and from the bars. We loved the people watching and didn’t have any issues with neighbors and other guests. The next door neighbor in the wood house became friends with my in laws and we really enjoyed his company. Our only disappointments were the fireworks for the fourth we’re not linked with the Big Bay Boom- thank goodness for seaworld, the trash can was way too small and there weren’t enough hooks in the house for towels to dry. Highly recommend this place for families or just adults wanting to getaway. Prepare yourself for a stair workout! I’m 7 months pregnant and I was not prepared. I want to book again when I’m not pregnant and see how well I do! :P

Parking is a challenge. The parking space provided fit our Toyota Sienna van and a Prius hood-to-bumper. The width of the space was extremely narrow. The Sierra barely fit, and required someone to stand outside and direct when backing in or backing out as the case may be. Squeezing into and out of the driver seat was a challenge. It was easier to open the rear lift gate to crawl into and out of the car through the back.

Property is clean and described accurately. Great location if you want to stroll to coffee or quick bite in the neighborhood. Quick access to the bay and beach. Nice beach toys available and loved having the w/d unit in-house. Only negative it has incredibly thin walls and it’s blended with another so lots of shared walls and floors. The other vacationers had young kids running jumping scraping furniture all night (until after midnight and 5:30 am). We are not grumpy old people we had teens abs a 5 and 3 year old and It was REALLY bad. We thought one of the kids was going to breakthrough the ceiling! Texted Mgt and we think they reminded the other vacationers about “quiet hours” and got slightly better the next couple nights. You also hear a lot of street noise as it’s right on the main road. Despite this it is still a great place to stay and if you don’t mind a lot of stairs it’s a great place for big families. We would definitely recommend this house.
