It's just steps to the boardwalk and beach and a 3-minute walk to Mission Bay. This home has been lovingly maintained and is ready for families to experience the best of beach living! Features include a gated yard, slate patio with a gas BBQ and outdoor dining set, an oversized 2-car garage, large family suite, close to markets and restaurants and within walking distance to Belmont Park. The family suite envelopes the 2nd floor and features a 10′ x 9′ walk-in closet that has been converted into a sleeping room, perfect for kids. Note that Bedroom 4 is a pass-through room to the garage and 2nd level and the downstairs living area isn't that large if you are coming with a larger group. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a fireplace and jetted tub in the bedroom suite, box fans, ready-made beds, one towel set and beach towel per guest, and a starter kit of soaps and paper goods. House was perfect for our family to get together for the weekend. So clean and big enough for all of us to spread out. Closeness of the beach was awesome and the two car garage was such a bonus!

We stayed here as two families with a 2yr old and 9mo old. The location was exceptional. We went for morning walks on the coastline trail, right down the street from 2 local coffee shops and cafe, parking that fit and Suburban XL and stayed very comfortably with 4 adults and 2 kids in pack n plays. Would absolutely return to this house and work with this management company again!!

Great location and responsive property management. We had a maintenance issue that was quickly resolved, with grace. The little yard in front is a great extra "living room" and overall this is a great place.

We had a wonderful stay during the week of Thanksgiving. The house is perfectly located just a minute walk to the beach, and close to neighborhood markets and restaurants. It has an enclosed garage for two vehicles, so no issues with parking. Everything we needed was available at the house, including beach toys for the little ones and everything needed to prepare a big Thanksgiving meal. I have to give a shoutout to the Bluewater management team. They were very communicative and available before and throughout our stay. Overall, just an excellent experience.

The 2 children(2,4) had their own room connected to their parents. It was clean and quiet. Walking distance to good restaurants, the beach and amusement area for kids. also very close drive to the zoo and old town San Diego

This was a great place to stay. The house is fully equipped with BBQ items, beach items, beach towels, etc. There is an outdoor shower to wash the sand off. The beach and bay are a minute's walk. I loved the bay most of all. The only downfall was the lack of air conditioning. However, there were plenty of fans in the closets. I actually left a fan there. The pier is a 10-minute walk, and there is plenty of fun to be had there.

My friends and i stayed here for a long weekend and we really enjoyed it! Plenty of space for a large group. The location is very close to the beach. It would be nice to have a few extra towels and soaps in kitchen/bathroom. On arrival we noticed the floors were a bit sandy, but understandable being in a beach location. I would still give the house 5 stars. Comfortable beds and lots of fans in the house.

Perfect location, garage for two, quick communication, super clean, and cute beach decor. This house had it all! Plus a cute front yard with a grassy patch, shady palm trees, bbq and outdoor table. Oh and at night you can see the Sea World fireworks perfectly from the master bedroom windows! What a treat! Definitely staying again.

The management company was great! They were very quick in responding to questions etc. The property was great for our needs. The walk through bedroom was interesting and I didn't realize you had to walk through to get to upstairs. I thought it was just to get to garage, but we made it work.

The house has been updated and was nice and very clean! Kitchen stocked perfectly! Beds are comfy as well. Nice outdoor space and clean propane grill. We brought a portable fire pit which was perfect for nights. Would recommend to families. Just a note there are no hallways so rooms are connected but all separate and private. You have to walk through one of the rooms to get to some of the rooms but it works out! Close to sea world also. Communication was excellent!

This was the perfect place for 2 families and Grandma to stay. It was quiet, clean and had everything we needed and then some. Communication from the managers was amazing and the check in and out process couldn’t have been easier. We’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent location right next to the beach, walk out the front door walk 50yards and your there on the beach, clean housing and beach area! Really enjoyed our stay would recommend this place and would like to stay there again in the future!

We had amazing time here. It was 8 adults, couples trip, and more then enough room. We read the details prior to arriving so already knew about the pass through room and the closet bunk bed room…this didn’t bother us one bit as we spent most is the time in living room area and outside on patio area. Could invest in some new mattresses!

My family stayed here for the Mother's Day weekend. The property was very clean and updated. The follow through from check-in to check- out was seamless. We had a dedicated contact that checked in on us daily to make sure everything was good. I would recommend Bluewater Vacation Homes again.

This home in Mission Beach is in the perfect location for pretty much everything we wanted to do in San Diego! We bought the “Go San Diego” passes and it was so easy to hop right on the freeway to Sea World, the Zoo, the USS Midway, Legoland, museums, etc. We loved being steps from the beach and having Belmont Park and many food options just down the road. The beach towels provided were much appreciated. And the large bin of sand toys in the garage were great! While out at the beach, we even had dolphins come up near. Amazing! The home was clean and had everything we needed to get started with (dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, travel soap and shampoos, etc). There was only one large bath towel per person, but more towels were delivered quickly upon request. We really appreciated having a garage, as parking would have been difficult to locate (NOTE: it was tight, but we managed to fit TWO YukonXL SUVS side by side in the garage—so awesome!!
Our only complaint about this stay would be the mattresses. They were just not comfortable at all. Just sitting on the edge, the bed seems so kind of “give out”—there is really not much support. They were fine for the kids to sleep on, but not at all for adults (4 adults and 6 young kids). We did not feel well rested. If the beds were better I would have no complaints and we would return in a heartbeat!! Maybe we are just getting old.
Overall, we had a great time here. We felt very well taken care of by Blue Water Vacations.

My family and I enjoyed our 4day stay over Christmas . The house was spacious and fit the needs of 5 adults. We were able to have a great Christmas Eve dinner of salmon and scallops on the grill. About a 5 minute walk to the paved beach path, 15 minute walk down to Belmont Park for a roller coaster ride at sunset. Only cons-outdated and ineffective dishwasher, a better toaster would also been nice

Property was moments away from the beach! The only surprise was that you had to walk through one of the Queen bedrooms to get to the stairs and garage. Also, the Master bedroom had a walk-in closet that was converted to a bedroom with bunkbeds. Unfortunately, we didn't use the bunkbed room as it encroached on those staying in the master bedroom.
Note that this home didn't have AC so we spent most our time at the beach- which was fine during the day but not comfortable at night. The home did provide plenty of fans.

Family vacation
I head from Northern CA to PB/MB several times a year, typically 1+ week with my wife and 4 college age kids. I always look for lots of beds and parking is a must. the floor plan was a little janky but it worked. The master bedroom was quite roomy, with a fireplace and it's own deck, but the closet was turned into a bedroom with a bunk bed. It would be great if you had small children. There is also a bedroom that you walk through to get from the Master to the living space. The back patio was nice, we used the BBQ and ate outside. The garage was large enough to fit my slightly lifted full size F-150, a Chevy Volt, 3 sets of golf clubs, and 4 bikes. There was a wall plug to charge the Volt which was also nice for my local daughter to charge and get to and from work. There was a ton of airplane traffic which is hardly noticeable when further north in PB. The location was fantastic. All in all I would recommend this place if you have one or two families with small children.

Rental was clean and tastefully decorated. There were plenty of pans to cook with but some cooking utensils could be added. It was close to the beach, area was quiet. The garage was large enough for our car and bike storage.

Nice house Horrible neighbors
If you plan on having a good time with family this is not the house for you. Had family over to enjoy the patio and barbeque and the neighbor right across the way called the owner and lied to try to get us kicked out. Even threatened and tried to fight my family (who was there for a funeral) It was 7:30 at night not even after hours and because he was so nasty we ended up having to end our little get together . He has the owner on speed dial. Needless to say we felt like we were walking on eggshells the remaining of our stay. Very unfortunate. House was nice but what good is it if you can't sit on the patio and enjoy your stay without the irate neighbor listening in and watching EVERYTHING you do.

Posting a floor plan would have been helpful. The layout of the rooms is very unusual; giving little to no privacy in all but one of the bedrooms.
Making it known that the house is in the flight pattern of the airport (and military aircraft as well) would have been nice. While some members of our group enjoyed the various aircraft, the noise at times made it difficult to hold a conversation outdoors or leave the windows open at night.
The kitchen had everything that we needed and the BBQ grill on the patio was great.
There are air conditioning units on the premises but there is no air conditioning available. We were thankful that the weather was in the low/mid 70's during the daytime for our visit, but it would have been very uncomfortable if the temperature was any warmer than that.
The supply of paper products was extremely minimal for the number of guests. There were no extra towels available either (bath or kitchen). Increasing these would have been a simple and much appreciated touch.
The floor was quite dirty; much improved after we mopped. Not something we should have had to do on our second day. The tile needs a deep cleaning as do the carpets. I understand that humidity and the ocean breeze adds to the problem, but considering it was stated that extra cleaning was done to ensure a safe & clean environment (with Covid concerns), the flooring missed the mark.
The bathroom downstairs could use a touch up (mainly just some paint and hardware).
Overall we did enjoy our stay, but wanted to share these details in hopes of giving some insight.
