The private gas grill will provide an enviable view for the group's chef. Inside, windows galore provide views of the outdoors from nearly every room. Mix yourself up a drink from the bar cart and enjoy a film on the flatscreen TV - musically inclined guests can enjoy playing a favorite tune on the upright piano. The gas fireplace will help everyone warm up properly after a day out exploring. The full kitchen features everything guests need to prepare full-size meals (including granite countertops and a helpful prep island) while the built-in breakfast nook provides plenty of space to enjoy meals together. A dedicated office space is perfect for if guests need to finish assignments before heading out. Rest and plan your adventure in this comfortable lodge-style home - everything you need to do so is just inside. THINGS TO KNOW A 4x4 may be required to reach this home in winter. There is a zero-tolerance policy for extra guests at any time. Violating the maximum occupancy of six people will result in immediate eviction from the premises of all parties. No refunds will be issued. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Security camera details: ***Please note: There is an outdoor camera on our back deck to the right of the BBQ. This is for security purposes and spa monitoring WHEN THE HOUSE IS VACANT. We will have this camera turned off during your stay, however, I encourage you to throw a towel over the camera to give you peace of mind that you have true privacy. There are other outdoor security cameras, but only at the front and sides of the house. THERE ARE NO CAMERAS INSIDE THE HOUSE. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. My family and I loved this home! It was perfecto for our christmas getaway. The home had a cute small tree and decorations for the holidays. The fireplace and the many windows looking out to the snow wonderland outside. Our stay was magical!

This was our first stop and stay on our 10 day trip to Alaska. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to start our vacation! They provided such a nice homey and relaxing feel. Especially enjoyed the hot tub! Would love to have stayed longer. Great communication as well.

This is an amazing cabin. The bed was soft and comfortable, the cabin was very clean and fresh feeling, the location is a quick drive into Anchorage or Wasilla, close by to Indian Falls trail. 3 Bears market is right down the street if you need anything. The cabin feels like you are out in the wilderness but it’s easily accessible. Their hot tub was clean and is a newer nicer one with a digital interface. Apple TVs everywhere in this place, if you have time after your adventures. Our hosts even left a surprise, that pretty much sold me on coming back again.

Such a cute, cozy and authentic Alaska house! It had everything we could need to relax and cook and we loved enjoying the hot tub every evening. The decor is so thoughtful and fun and made us feel like we were truly in Alaska. It was nice to have so many bathrooms and our teenage daughters loved having the whole basement space to themselves! We used the house as our base for Anchorage and the 30 minute drive was easy. We definitely recommend staying here!

We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, but this is one of my favorites and I can’t wait to come back! The home is very comfortable and spacious, with great common areas but also plenty of room for people to have their own space since each level has a bedroom and a bathroom. The beds, bedding and towels are wonderful and there are so many nice touches like soft robes (perfect for the jacuzzi!) and phone chargers on each nightstand. The kitchen has everything you could need, along with a big table perfect for dining or playing games. The location of this house was perfect for day trips and we visited Talkeetna and Seward while we were there, and also did some nice local hikes. The best part was coming back to the house, fixing dinner, and then, getting in the jacuzzi! This house is perfect for venturing out, but also staying in. How are you?

The home was so clean and well equipped for an extremely comfortable stay. It was a cozy setting where we enjoyed time with our family in between all the adventures we had. The location was perfect as we drove from the house on day trips (Denali, Glenn Allen, Seward, Anchorage and several places close by); the house was so nice to return to at the end of each day. And we spent a couple of days just enjoying the house with the beautiful views, fireplace and hot tub. We definitely give this place the highest recommendation and hope to return there some day.

This is a really beautiful house with lots of room. There was a gift basket ready at our arrival. The house and kitchen were well equipped and had what we needed. The only unusual thing to be aware of is that there is little privacy in the basement (the basement bedroom has no door). But overall would happily stay here again!

The cabin/home was very peaceful. A few small things like there was bleached left over inside the washer and it ruin several of our clothing. There are a few things that need fixing. Overall it was nice, the small things aren’t big enough to really make too much fuzz about. We came from Maui and this cabin was just what we needed for a peaceful getaway and family time. Alohhhhaaa!!

Amazing stay for our Honeymoon

My wife and I traveled to Anchorage for our honeymoon and enjoyed every minute of it. This cabin in the woods is the perfect spot to relax and spend time with each other. Everything was super clean and was well stocked with everything you need. The outdoor fireplace and hot tub was exceptional. We could even see the northern lights from the patio during the wee hours of the morning. All in all I recommend to anyone looking for a romantic getaway. We can't wait to come back and stay again.

My friend and I spent a glorious week at Queens Birch Lodge. The house was clean. The spa was hot and relaxing. The setting was peaceful. The house is super easy to get to from Anchorage and will not disappoint! The owner is super easy to work with and even provided us with a gift basket at our arrival!
