warm staff, minimalist architecture, towel warmer, good location, free parking, pretty grounds
moldy smell in kitchen never resolved, microwave door broken, they charge you for coffee pods in the room (!!!! could not believe it)

I would say that this is the most beautiful, breathtaking room I have ever stayed in my life - and I have travelled a lot and stayed at fabulous hotels around the world! The aesthetics of the room itself and the surroundings in the gardens are simply wonderful and every detail has be designed carefully, in order to create an atmosphere of relaxation, quiteness and Incredible beauty! If you travel to São Miguel island, try to stay in Landescape Furnas, it will be an unforgettable experience!

Loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. Beautifully appointed units. Great breakfast and awesome location. We loved our stay here.
I loved everything here - no complaints! One piece of feedback: consider putting out the pool towels in the units. We did not know we could ask for them and could have used a few on our island adventures visiting beaches.

Location, vibe, cleanliness
Booking states that breakfast is included and even has a ‘good breakfast’ score, however I was so disappointed to find that breakfast only included a mini fridge with eggs, milk, one type of jam, butter, and meat/cheese. There was only one type of each thing and it seemed very cheap/processed. The coffee machine also did not work and we had to end up going out for coffee and breakfast every morning. Additionally, on our last day, the cleaning staff turned our heat on (in August) and it took hours to cool the room back down.
