it is nicely located, close to the beach area. The beach is not big and rocky, and if waves, you cannot swim there.
So, overall it is nice area and ok
Why is it ok and not good or great? - for some reasons breakfast area is not accessible all the time. I am not asking for anything special but just to make a cup of tea or coffee. We were leaving at 6 in the morning and we were not able to have breakfast or to make just a cup of tea and because there is no refrigerator or coffee/tea making option in a room one should know about things like these in advance, before booking this hotel.
Also, there is no options to dry your bathing suits anywhere. We stayed in a room with 2 balconies and there were not a string to dry swimwear after swimming or a single chair or something :) - none

One of the comfiest bed I ever had. Great breakfast, amazingly friendly staff and well located
Only thing I notice is that no Portuguese hotels have a fridge like in United States. In a warm place I do appreciate being able to keep a cold bottle of water or soda. But it is not major. They fixed it by letting me keep my drinks in their fridge

The location of the hotel is very good. There is a relatively big free parking available for the guests. It’s just 2min walk away from the coast. There is a nice supermarket and a few nice restaurants nearby.
The room was relatively small and not very well planned - it was quite uncomfortable with two suitcases. The amenities were quite worn down. The biggest issue was the very high humidity and not sufficient ventilation of the room. There was a very unpleasant smell in the room.
