Very comfortable and lovely breakfast. Also I was very impressed by the care of the check-in person. I arrived as a sole woman and let them know that my friend would be joining me later. The staff member took a note of her name and confirmed with me that I was happy for her to be given a key. When my friend arrived she had to answer some questions about the booking before she was given a room key. In the current climate of other hotels not being so careful, this was really great. I’d feel safe returning if I was travelling on my own.

The hotel is in the ideal location in town for what we needed. Breakfast was nice.

The pub/entryway area was really really nice. There was vegetarian options for breakfast, which was a big plus for us. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the little town was nice.
The room wasn't really as advertised. The window also didn't lock? If I had been alone, I would have felt very unsafe. The bathroom also didn't have good airflow, and it took ages for the steam to go away after we showered, which probably explains the black stains in the bathroom. We just felt like, for what we paid, it was kind of just ok.

Staff were fabulous friendly and helpful
Rooms ok but not serviced ,on 2nd day had to go into corridor and ask for loo paper, tissue box empty beds not made after first day nor tidied
