Room and bed were excellent. Location is also great.
Not into loyalty thinks which may account for high drink prices.

Restaurant and food were excellent
Thought the welcome was non existent.Staff hard to find and was abruptly told check in time 3pm .Also think the notice on the table saying its bar service only is far too small. Most people I saw were sitting waiting as they couldnt see it.As a single woman I didnt like being put in the annex as there is no phone in case of an emergency

Room nice size, bed comfortable.
Not properly clean - some hairs in the shower!
Breakfast choice poor this standard of hotel - no cold meets/cheese. Lack of nuts and seeds to accompany yoghurt. Cooked option not very good quality.
Staff a bit grumpy when redeeming the free drink offer for not having the room serviced each day.
Also, that offer is very restrictive - i.e not applicable to cask beers. Surely the hotel is saving a lot by not having to clean the room!
