Pleasant room
Staff were courteous and efficient
Beer garden was lovely on a very hot day
Location on main road meant room was noisy with window open
Location was very remote so no where to go to without using car
A considerable number of items on the menu were not available

What's not to like about The Kestral.
It's a beautiful country pub, restaurant and Inn. Spotless, welcoming, comfortable and I could easily have stayed 2 nights rather than 1.
The staff were welcoming, they honored my request of an early check in which was really kind as we had an event in Harrogate. Bedroom exactly as the picture on Booking.Com
Very clean.
The bed could have been a bit softer but that's a preference thing.
Breakfast was delicious.
Overall a beautiful place and we will definitely be back

It all went very smoothly. The room was spacious and well apointed.
There wasn't anything to dislike. We did have a problem with the shower which we mentioned on leaving but generally it was trivial.

The place was lovely, well presented
The staff rushed off their feet, paid ÂŁ30 for a steak for my partner that was full of fat , complained and nothing was taken off the bill. Said she had but ÂŁ5 off and that was for the 3 course deal that I ate !!
Our room was number 4 right by the door at top of the stairs squeaked til 1 am and floorboards no sleep til then!
wanted to check out at 7 am, nowhere to put keys no one about and all doors locked til 8 am, this was a big let down !
