Being the home of an artist was a treat, from the quirky art work and room decor to the stunning colours and carefully curated breakfast scape. Multiple food choices to back up the artisitic layout.
Friendly dogs with one even wearing a kilt. This place brims with the fun and creativity of the owner,
We had a charming room in the eaves so head height space was a little limited but bed was comfy.
We shared a bathroom with another room but knew that in advance so fair enough.

Everything about our stay at The Art Bank was wonderful and the reason was our host Mandy. It was so obvious in everything she did for us that Mandy genuinely cared about making our stay as easy, relaxed, and enjoyable as possible. It was wonderful to meet such an interesting and creative host, who was both relaxed while paying attention to all the little details that make a difference. The breakfasts were luxurious and always perfectly cooked and presented. The house and our room were both great. We loved the vibe! The location in central Dalbeattie was just right for us too. This stay was a joy and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Mandy!

What a lovely place to stay. A warm welcome from Mandy. Fabulous quirky and well thought out decor, and artwork everywhere. Breakfasts were delicious - don’t think we’ve ever had better. We loved it and definitely aim to return
