Steve & Lorna are just so friendly and always available to help.
Off road parking for half a dozen cars, four or five undercover.
Short stroll into Lynmouth .
Great sun terrace for drinks .

Lorna and Steve were the perfect hosts: friendly, welcoming and can't do enough for you. Always ready with recommedations to enhance your stay if required, and Lorna even let us make a fuss of their gorgeous dog, which we'd seen a few times in their office on the way out.
Steve cooked excellent breakfasts which we'll definitely miss, and he helped us out with our luggage, too.
The beds were very comfy and there were sockets next to the beds - always handy for chargers, medical appliances and hairdryers 🙂
The accommodation was a short walk to shops and restaurants and we enjoyed listening to the river from our bedroom window while having a cuppa from the well-stocked tea/coffee basket.
Will definitely stay here again if we come back to beautiful Lynmouth.
There's nothing not to like as East Lyn House is a lovely accommodation, in a beautiful area, with wonderful hosts.
I found the stairs to our twin room on the 2nd floor a bit of a struggle but I'm old, short, fat and asthmatic, and they did seem easier by the end of the week!
My husband's bed seemed to squeak with the slightest movement, but he's a twitcy chap (hence why we booked a twin room) and I am a notoriously light sleeper/insomniac.
Obviously, these are specifically "me problems" which won't affect the majority of people with a basic level of fitness and the ability to breathe and sleep, so I still 100% recommend staying here!
