Nestled in Savannah, this charming house for $794 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Built in 1882 and conveniently located on East Gaston Street in the historic district, this stately home is steps to Forsyth Park and within easy walking distance of restaurants, historic attractions, museums, squares, shopping, and the famous Riverfront. The property includes the main 4-bedroom house, (consisting of the upper three levels of the home), and a 1-bedroom carriage house, each with a private entrance and shared access to the rear courtyard. This spacious home has been beautifully restored and decorated, maintaining many original features, but updated with modern conveniences. This home is ideal for wedding parties, girls' weekends, large groups, and family reunions! Sleeps 12 total. The main house retains many original features, including 11-ft. ceilings on the main floor, 10-ft. ceilings on the upper level, fireplaces in each bedroom (decorative only), original floors and woodwork, antiques, and period decor. On the main level is the living room, formal dining room, fully-stocked kitchen with stainless appliances and custom cabinetry, a breakfast room, and half bath. The second level has two bedrooms, a bonus room, and a full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The top level has two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom with a claw-foot tub/shower. A balcony off the breakfast room overlooks a lovely courtyard below, and a full-size washer and dryer are located in the hallway on the upper level for guest use. The house has high-speed Internet and TVs in each bedroom for streaming. The living room TV also has cable. Note that there are several staircases and no elevator. The apartment features a cozy living room with seating and a kitchenette, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a bathroom with a shower. A front porch with seating overlooks the courtyard and is an excellent spot for relaxing after a day of touring historic Savannah. A full-size washer and dryer are also located in the garage below. The property worked well for our extended family of 10. When we first walked in and saw the Christmas tree, we knew we'd made a good choice. We appreciated having bedrooms & beds for everyone and a dining table large enough for us to sit together for meals. The location is perfect. We enjoyed being able to walk to so many of the places we wanted to see/explore/eat at. We all enjoyed the Saturday farmer's market in Forsythe Park and the restaurant there on another day. The free DOT busses were only a block or two away, making it easy to visit the waterfront with its many shops and restaurants. Even a grocery store was only a short walk away. Savannah is a beautiful city and the hosts were responsive to our needs. Thank you for a memorable, family Christmas.

We had our wedding in Savannah in October and this is where I housed my side of the family. The house was beautiful and had all of the space we needed. And it was awesome to have the carriage house room all to myself for some peace and quiet between festivities. Jessica was so responsive and kind with all of my questions. Can't wait to come back again! And the location was incredible for quiet walks in the beautiful Forsyth Park.

First, the pictures don’t do this home justice! It was immaculate, historic and beautifully maintained! It had all the modern needs mixed with beautiful history. The host was wonderful, communicative and very accommodating to the needs of my large family. It was an easy and scenic walk into town and we were right next to Forsyth Park. Not only would I highly recommend staying here, but my family has decided we would like to travel the the hosts other properties and check them out as well!! Nothing but good things to say here! Also we ranged in age from 1-58 and there wasn’t a single complaint about the home!! Thank you!!

This property went well beyond our expectations for our wedding week. We stayed here with most of our wedding party, and there was plenty of space for everyone (including the downtairs and over-garage apartments, which afforded extra privacy), and plenty of space to cook, eat, and gather. It allowed our whole group to spend quality time and have a blast. The house is *STUNNING*, across the board - and the large Christmas tree the owners set up in the living room was truly a gift. We did many of the bridal getting ready photos by the tree. The segmented spaces also allowed separate spaces for the bridal party vs. groom party to get ready morning-of, with the guys getting ready in the downstairs two-bedroom apartment (so much space down there too, with its own living room and kitchenette!). We did our first look with my husband waiting at the bottom of the stairs as I came out the front door, and I can't wait to see the photos. It was then a very short walk to Forsyth Park for all the rest of the photos. Perfect, absolutely perfect - this property really was a key feature to our fairytale week! Host was very responsive as well. Thank you!

Great location. Savannah truly is a destination city. Gaston St currently has a lot of construction and would benefit from a cleansing but that’s the process forward I guess. Jessica was very responsive when we had trouble with the front entry. We enjoyed our stay.

This house is huge. The beautiful park is just a block away with 2 big playgrounds and more. The house is close to the essentials and a moderate walk to the river and all that has to offer. The owners are right there for ya with any info or help you would need. It was great having a house big enough to hold all the family in one place but had their own separate apartment for privacy if needed. The beds are so comfortable. The woodwork and chandeliers are amazing. If you got a big group, this is the place for you.

I stayed at this property for my Bachelorette party this weekend and it was just as beautiful as it appears in the pictures. It is close to the park and in a very walkable location, next to great shops, and 30 minutes away from the beach. The host, Jessica, was amazing and extremely communicative, and all of my guests loved the house. It was great for a larger group who have different sleeping schedules, and the back yard is super cute. Would highly recommend this property!

This property was perfect for our college reunion. Location is in a very walkable area, and a quick Uber ride into town. House was very clean. There are 4 BR in the main house, then almost two smaller units attached. It worked out great, very spacious. Lots of stairs. Overall, if you’re looking for a large home with historic charm, this is it!
