The hotel is nice and clean and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was not very helpful or knowledgeable about Universal Studios which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Also, please make sure you are aware of all the taxes, fees and LA County/City fees that are charged including a charge for housekeeping whether your room is serviced or not. Lastly, if you're thinking about ordering room service be prepared for $14 French Fries that were marginal at best.

It was really clean, and the staff was friendly. My complaints are with the mattress. It was old and lumpy. That was the same issue with sofa bed, the mattress was also lumpy. You would think that at $400 per night you would get a better nught sleep.

We enjoyed our time at the Hilton Universal, the staff was great. The Hotel offered a shuttle to Universal Studios or you could walk a short 10 minute.

Whenever in L.A., we stay here. It is a short distance to visit family, the valley, Hancock Park, the Hollywood Bowl, and the City Walk at Universal is a 5-minute walk where restaurants and shops are plentiful. We did request an ADA room for a family member. My only complaint is there was not a walk in shower, only bars to assist with getting in and out of the tub. A walk-in shower is much safer for an elder and it would be nice if the ADA rooms were updated. The staff is wonderful. And the food in the restaurants are very good as well.

Even as a Hilton Honors member and checked-in through Hilton Honors APP, the room was not ready at published "Check-in" time at 4pm. I had to wait until after 5pm to receive my room. The hotel knew my arrival time and could have easily assigned Housekeeping to clean the room in a prompt and timely manner.

The amount that is charged for parking is outrageous. For the amount that I spent on a one night stay, I shouldn’t have to spend another $45 to park my car. Other than that, the hotel and room was very clean. The room was comfortable and the staff I interacted with were incredibly kind and helpful.

I wanted some control of the temperature/air flow in my room. Also, the beds are made with the cover so short I have to pull the bed apart just to have it high enough when I am lying down.

Everything was great! We stayed the night to enjoy the Cafe Sierra Lunar New Year buffet and entertainment. Then took the complimentary shuttle to CityWalk for a movie. Definitely coming back.

My husband and I came to Hilton In celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary. The receptionist Linda M was able to accommodate all of our needs and more. We really appreciate her kindness and professionalism. She made us feel very special. We stayed at the deluxe King room which was clean, spacious and comfortable. We will definitely come back to Hilton Universal City next time when we’re in town. Thank you so much Linda and all of the staff who made our weekend extra memorable….

This hotel was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was absolutely perfect. The Hilton really understands class! Our room was up to date, clean, and ever so comfortable. We had a refrigerator, microwave, and a safe, all essential for a secure and comfortable stay. And, let’s not forget about the water pressure. It was the strongest we’ve ever experienced at any hotel over 40+ years of traveling. Amazing!!! This is the hotel we all hope for when we travel. We were lucky to have found this absolute gem!

We really appreciated the close proximity to Universal Studios. We were able to enjoy Universal City atmosphere within walking distance the night before visiting the park. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and very comfortable!

This hotel is beautiful, conveniently located to the Universal Studios and City Walk. The check-in was seamless, the hotel staff very friendly and I was happy with my room. The room was comfortable, quiet and I felt oddly at home there. I would recommend this location to anyone.

Property was clean and check in and check out was super efficient. We even got to check in early which was a plus! You are walking distance to universal attractions and they even provide a free shuttle, if you want. The shuttle was also right on time. Rooms were spacious and clean. Truly a great experience!

Hotel is 5mins walk to Universal Studios so brilliant. Rooms are dated but the ones park facing have amazing views. The hotel itself is in need of upgrade. Staff are efficient if not particularly friendly. Although there are places to eat across in City Walk outside of this things are limited and a walk beyond the metro is not recommended as the neighbourhood gets a bit risky

Hotel is super convenient for access to the Universal Studios. Shuttle, baggage holding after before and after check in/out, parking, early check in, late hours for room service…All of these made planning park rides very easy.

They double charged me for self parking. I ended up paying $124 for one night self parking. This is the second time same hotel and location does it. Unprofessional front desk staff.

Stayed four nights, 2 days with no hot water. Trouble with room cards not working. Outdated rooms with no USB ports at all. Overpriced on everything you buy there. Food mediocre at best and overpriced. We felt gouged on everything. Staff was nice couldn't help with poor facility. New or reprogrammed room card 10 times in four days. Never again
