Enjoyable stay .Staff friendly and helpful .
Ideal location for Resort world Arena and NEC . Excellent breakfast .

Myself and my husband stayed for 1 night as we were attending an outdoor event in the North Car Parks. The location of this hotel was perfect. Walking distance to resorts world and the event we were attending (we were very lucky with the weather for this!)
The hotel was lovely. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was perfect and just what we needed. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Kingsize bed was two single mattresses pushed together, shower was terrible no pressure

Do not stay in this hotel, the whole experience was terrible, staff unwelcome, food cold, broken air conditioning and the main entrance is where everyone smokes, so you are walking through an ash tray to get in the hotel.
4.0
Good hotel. But a little worn around the edges.
2.0
Comfortable beds, but mould in the bathroom and the bar was incredibly over priced.

A piece was sticking out in the shower and cut my foot so badly I needed to go to A&E for a shot. I asked them for something by way of a refund for the time missed at the conference at the NEC and they basically said 'we paid for your taxi there and back so we are good' - no really, here's their response
"I can see from Hotels.com a refund has been requested due to the injury to your toe during your stay.
However, at present we are not refunding the stay. Our Health & Safety team have been notified of the injury, alongside the status of the bedroom itself.
I do believe my colleagues who were on duty that evening organised you a courtesy taxi at your request to the nearest A&E. This, alongside one to return to the hotel, was organised for you.
My colleague has also noted your concerns with the relevant department managers, particularly with our Maintenance team regarding the shower."

Stayed for 1 night for concert in Resort Arena. Location excellent. Tried to check in half an hour early and they tried to give us a lower standard of room than booked. Then said room type booked needed to be checked by housekeeping that was clean and to come back in half an hour. Queued again for another 15 minutes and given the keys to the correct room. We went to the room and found that the room was already occupied. At this point we were both annoyed and embarrassed. Went to reception to complain and again queued to be seen after being ignored by a couple of reception who obviously realised we were there to complain. Explained the situation and was refunded our car parking charge. Was then told that we would have to wait for another room to be checked by housekeeping! Didn’t agree to this and asked for a room that was ready now as checks not even carried out.
Used the Executive lounge for drinks before show. It was busy but friendly and helpful staff. Selection of drinks good. Room comfortable and surprisingly not very noisy given the size of hotel and being busy. Used executive lounge next morning for breakfast. Plenty to choose from and nice and quiet.
Would use again if at Nec or Arena but would try other near hotels first.

Not a hotel for the solo straight, white, middle-aged business traveller
Hardly any of the staff are native English and trying to get a point across is near impossible.
I stayed near the lift shift and had to wear earplugs due to its constant grinding and squeaking.
The TV doesn't work, and there is a hidden charge to use the leisure facilities Which they don't tell you about until you book the room which is in the terms and conditions on Hotels.com, who reads terms and conditions when all the pictures show a swimming pool

Great facilities and a very nice hotel.

Great stay as always!

The room was OK, large bed albeit quite firm, no mini bar or fridge in the room which was disappointing. The shower cubicle was small, I struggled to turn around in there!! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but the quality of some food items could have been better. The bar was disappointing, we'd have been here every night, however the service was very slow and the fact that they stop serving cocktails at 8 pm meant that we went elsewhere for drinks, there appeared to be no management at the bar and a significant lack of experience, I ended up paying £37 for 2 G&T's which were the first and last drinks that we had there!! Overall OK.

Nice staff. Clean room. Lovely bed. Room service is very expensive!

Very disappointed with my stay. The room was like students accommodation. It was open plan so bedroom and shower all together and not even a door on the toilet. A bit strange for a double room.
Also, walls were extremely thin, i could hear everything from the next room. Very noisy all night and then i was woekn up at 05.10 by someone vomiting very loudly then banging the toilet seat every 15 minutes.
Not my usual experience at the Hilton. Will not be rushing back.

When you stay away from home frequently you quickly learn to appreciate a high quality hotel. The Hilton is a really well appointed hotel, rooms are great and love the bath products, choice of teas and access to free digital magazines

Nice location, polite staff especially the reception and room service. Room was way too small to what I expected for a family of 4. We had to pay for every service from the parking to using the pool( Considering the booking cost was not exactly cheap.

I have stayed at this hotel before and loved it so I booked it again. It’s in the perfect location to see concerts at Resort World BUT the hotel has gone down hill. Nearly £200 for 1 night and then you have to pay £15 for parking and £18 each for breakfast (the breakfast was beautiful and there was loads of choice but for £18pp it should be) The room had no hairdryer, no water, only 2 coffees. And then they want you to pay to use the facilities? Absolutely ridiculous. As I say the plus side is that’s its handy and the staff are lovely but the prices they charge when you get zero extras isn’t very good. A travel lodge would be so much better and more value for money.

All staff very helpful, service in the bar for food was good but food itself wad expensive and not great quality
4.0
It was no better than a Travelodge. In fact I have stayed at better and cleaner Travelodges. Food was poor-frozen chips is not what you expect from a Hilton Hotel. Breakfast was a little better with a fairly good selection but a perfect example of how to murder mushrooms. Would not stay again.

This was a disappointing stay. We hadn't expected to pay £15 to park and then were not able to get out of the car park because the receptionist didnt enter our registration onto the system. To make matters worse when we went for breakfast we were turned away as our room wasn't entered as being inclusive so this also had to be sorted out at reception. Once we got breakfast it was actually very nice . The room was ok but the toilet didn't flush properly and the TV controls/menu seemed to be not functioning properly. Overall, a disappointing experience and we wouldn't stay there again.

We were disappointed that you have to pay for parking and pay to use the pool and sauna. The best thing about our stay was the wonderful concierge Liam. He was knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and very polite. A real credit to the hotel.

Everything was spotless, room really comfortable with a king bed, I was at the nec for an event and it was a five minute stroll to hotel. I fell ill during the night with food poisoning and was so sick I couldn’t leave my room. The hotel staff extended my check out to 3 pm and when I came down they offered to let me stay longer if I was unable to go. They didn’t charge me ans were so helpful. Even asked if I needed a doctor. Fantastic front desk staff.

Great location, rooms at a decent price, and everything else is super expensive.
A pint of beer, a single Bailey's, and a coke was 50p shy of £20!
Parking was £14 per 24 hours
And this was the first hotel I can recall where residents of the hotel had to pay extra to use the pool. £10 per person £20 family) for 90 mins.
While the rooms, decor etc were good, the cost of everything else seemed a little over the top.

Noisy night. There was a party of some sort going on with a disco near our room. It went on till about midnight and after that until about 0230hrs there was shouting and laughing going on. Afyer a poor nights sleep we went for breakfast at apx 0800 and it was pretty poor. The plates where cold, the food was cold and very greasy. I wont be going again.

Very comfortable and clean only one problem was the water pressure wasn't very good on the 4th floor

Lovely hotel . Executive lounge lovely but cold , resulting in cold food .

I had stayed at this hotel previously and was very happy but this time they gave us a room that was sharing a wall with the lifts and the constant noise of lifts going up and down was unbearable. We asked for another room and they gave us the one next to where we were and you could still hear it but the main problem there was the windows were old and fitted very poorly and there was a very noticeable cold draft all night and the noise isolation was not there at all. I will probably stay there again because it is sooo convenient for NEC but I will request a room as far away from the lifts as possible.

Really disappointing, broken shower, no toiletries in dispenders, spa is filthy and mobbed with kids.
Lots of noise outside the room at night.

I've stayed here before but this time I was allocated a corner room with very little wardrobe space. No fridge again.
The air conditioning didn't work to warm the room up but supplied with an electric fan heater. The problem was that the heater and the kettle tripped out the electrics plunging the room into darkness. Maintenance man came an told us about the problem.
An unsatisfactory stay.

Hotel lovely, room comfy, staff very polite and helpful. Was a big party so was woken in night by drunken revelry in car park of which room was looking out on but that’s no fault of the hotel. Overall would recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff

Unfortunately i felt that this hotel did not live up to the Hilton standard.
We arrived late afternoon and found that we needed to wait 20 minutes to check in, the line of people wanting to check in was long.
On check in, we were not informed that the restaurant was closed due to a private function, and found that we could only eat at the bar together with 200 other guests. This automatically brings the standard down, as the staff could not professionally cope. We ended up leaving and walking 500m down to another hotel to eat.
The rooms were large and comfortable, but the bathroom was ridiculously small (talk about swinging a cat here you couldn't even swing a toothbrush). The shower had old difficult to align taps, meaning that the shower was either to hot or to cold.
Overall a very average stay, quite disappointing for a Hilton

Fourth stay this year in a Hilton Branded and the worst.

Nice hotel in good position. Very busy, very noisey too. Bar prices are high as expected with hotels but quality of drinks on draught were poor. Obscure brands. Good hotel for stop offs and shopping but not a couples retreat etc.

Phone was broken, my daughter went and told them, nothing done so couldn’t order room service from phone, my daughter went and bought drinks up hotel bought food and was still charged room service, flushing the toilet in the morning and water poured through bath drain from toilet, for a Hilton hotel and the price of 195 for one night, I expected more. Travel lodge next time fir me.

Huge christmas party going on, no sleep due to shouting and banging til the ealry hours.
Drunk guys inappropriately commented about my teenage daughter, the staff not helpful and when I raised an email complaint, I got an apology only!
