Location was excellent and near Holyrood Park, staff really friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good with lots of choice.

Nice spacious room. The staff were absolutely outstanding: friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast buffet and “a la carte” options. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Very nice property in a convenient location. Restaurant is outstanding for menu dining. We often preferred eating there to going to area pubs and restaurants. Buffet breakfast has large selection but was understaffed at times. For some reason, we had several problems with getting washcloths in our room, even with used washcloths put out on the floor to indicate that new ones were needed.
Property is located a block from Parliament building and Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile. This puts it within walking distance of the train station and many attractions. But be forewarned: it is at the bottom of the large hill leading up to Edinburgh Castle, meaning most walks are uphill.
