This was our 3rd time at Iberostar Paraiso Beach and we had a wonderful time.
THE STAFF IS AMAZING... always kind, smiling, helpful and professional. Special shout out to Cristian, Alfonso, Wilian, Francisco and many many others that make this resort so very special with their wonderful demeanor and hard work.
The food is excellent. Many restaurants. Endless choices.
The only down side to this resort is that it is a bit older. There are no elevators.
There are "shuttles" like golf carts that can give rides to restaurants, beach or back to room.

I stayd in waves Paraiso Beach with my family.
Beach nice but a lot of seaweed, sometimes very bad smell.
Food ok, pool very nice , excellent equipment in gym.
No place to cool off (lobby, buffet....no AC)
Nice entertainment, a lot of activities.
At the end , hotel has a lot to do but if you a traveler with experience upgrade to Iberostar Lindo Rivera Maya.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary at the end of May. The property was beautiful. The staff was nice and accommodating. The food was fairly decent. The hosts of entertainment pool side were very funny and enthusiastic. The drinks were good.
The cons: the concierge's false niceness as soon as we arrived that evening offering to take us to breakfast at the more exclusive part of the resort just to lure us into a sales pitch that took up 3 hrs of our 1st day there. Being passed off from one person to the next so can be pressed to purchase a membership.
Just because I tour a property for less than a day doesn't mean I know enough to buy a $350000 membership. No matter how low you drop the price.
That put a bad taste in my mouth for going to tourist parts of Mexico. Saying "No" once maybe twice should be enough.
