Nice, quiet, maybe a third of a mile walk up the hill from the busy Thames St. Would stay again. Would be nice if the adjacent cafe would open before 8am.

The Inn at Bellevue was a fantastic choice for walkability to points of interest in Newport. Staff was friendly and helpful, parking was easy and convenient. Due to the age of the property, some parts of the room were in need of attention (TV and Toilet). Overall, very pleased with our stay and experience. Would absolutely book again!

Property was built in 1835 and teh rooms were well fitted. Staff was friendly and on hand when needed. easy 5 minute walk down to the waterside.

I frequent Newport to visit some of my friends now that I live in Milwaukee. I normally stay on Thames, but I enjoyed my stay at the Bellevue Inn. The staff was friendly and you can smell the fresh bakeries being made in the morning. Also location is very central to Thames and actually was quieter since you are up on the hill. Thank you for your hospitality!

No ice in our building, no coffee maker in our building could put keurig on 2nd floor other buildings have ice and coffee. Rm 8 is very small double bed for 2 people but it is jammed against wall have to climb over other person like in camper expensive for cruiseship size room be careful look closely at room you get ...our bill for 2 nights was $630

Great location, free parking. Pleasant Empoyees. Our room #5 on 3rd floor we picked in hopes of low noise level(smart but the VERY LOUD air conditioner nixed that!) could not open windows for fresh air. Room was charming & great shower. Room & bath could have been cleaner. We suggest that management sleep on your mattress for a night...Guarantee you will trash it & replace.

I do like this hotel, however, the room we had was possibly the smallest hotel room on earth… we barely had a place to put our luggage. The bathroom was very tiny and dark and the toilet was tucked into a corner where you could hardly sit on it. We paid over $250 for this room. I would stay here again but definitely will make sure I don’t get this room!

A small and well run european style establishment. The attached cafe was a welcome convenience for a quick bite or afternoon coffee. While reviews relating to outdated furniture in the public spaces aren't inaccurate, the rooms are very acceptable. Super convenient location!

The room was exactly as seen in the photos, it was very clean, and hospitality was great. We were shown to our room (which was very helpful) and breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning around the time we requested and the food was really good.

We wanted to be close to the Cliff walk and was walkable to there, but if you did the entire want it was a long walk back. Also walking distance to mansions, albeit you have to be in good walking condition. Breakfast was nice, a couple doors down from the Inn on Belleview. We did not like that the box springs of the bed were VERY noisy. Woke me up when I turned over or spouse got up. REPLACE the box spring in RM 3 - third floor

The room was dusty around the baseboards, ceiling and above the bathroom door. There was marks on the wall right near the toilet that looked like blood. The sheets and towels were ratty. The vent right outside the door was so dusty and the door knob to the room was loose. The breakfasts were awesome.

Great little inn. Went for my honeymoon and was pleasantly surprised. Cafe attached to it was an added bonus. Will stay there again for our anniversary trip!
