Well check in was great, was happy with the room and service. Even the night attendant was friendly and tried to help. I believe the room above or beside had the tv blaring until 3am! the attendant ask them to put it down but they just didn't put it down enough. kept us up for an other hr, then the garbage truck came in at 330-345 yes am. who the hell gets there garbage picked up at 3 am where people trust to get a good rest. our reason for the stay was we where tired and need to sleep before our long drive to Timmins (7hrs) well i want tell you you put my life and my wife life in danger as I was tired the whole trip home. almost fell asleep at the wheel 3 times. I understand that's the garbage trucks has a job to do but seriously you are the customer so you tell them what time works best for your business. Not in the middle of the night. There are many hrs. in the day for this service to be done. 3hrs of sleep is dangerous but I could not take it anymore so we left at 4am. Price is ridiculous for 3hr of sleep. I plan on traveling to Barrie in the near future and would like to give this place a second chance.

Delicious coffee available in the lobby. Generous free parking as well as large windows in the pool/gym area. You control your own room thermostat however the bathroom fan ran all night, regrettably no off switch. Being a light sleeper this did not work for me.

Would have given a 5 but had to wait to check in after 3 PM, had to call to get towels at the pool and was very disturbed that the emergency phone didn’t work at the pool.

All staff was super friendly. The breakfast was hot and well stocked. Pool room is a good size. Clean hotel.

The sofa bed was dirty and the cushions were torn. When we made the bed for my son, the bed was on a slanted angle almost as though it was broken. Crumbs under the cushions.

Everything was great other than the bathtub drain was plugged. We couldn’t take a shower because we didn’t want to be standing in tub water up to our ankles!

This hotel was fine for a quick stay but the rooms and elevators looked tired and worn. Breakfast was tasty and parking was easy. The coffee was good. Staff were personable. For the price, though, I would have liked the rooms to have been better maintained.

We have 4 families booked for 6 rooms. All of us having a good time staying there. It is a convenience location in Barrie that you can go anywhere very easy. The breakfast was pretty good also. The swimming pool with Jacuzzi, and exercise room next to it offers different option for people who want to exercise during a trip

Our room is spacious with 2 queen beds and the washroom is also spacious. Kush at the reception was very helpful, he has an excellent service. Breakfast was great!

Property is dated. Staff had zero.control.over multiple hockey teams...we packed and left as neighbor kids were yelling and screaming and making crank calls to our room. No parents to be seen. Walls were paper thin to hear all conversations. Breakfast which was provided was un available by 930 as hockey families had monopolized food and eating area.

Property was great! Quiet and close to where we needed to be. Some of the mattresses are squeaky. I kept my roommate up when I moved around.

Someone tried to enter the room during my stay. After asking the front desk who it was they told me that the cleaning staff was going to change the sheets because they had not been changed from the previous guest. So I’m sleeping in dirty sheets? Really disappointed

This is a great hotel, rooms are huge and very clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff, especially breakfast staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great with a lot of options available. Pool was nice but one suggestion would be to increase the room temperature at the pool. It was chilly getting out. Overall an amazing stay.

We stayed at this hotel a few years ago and really enjoyed our stay. This time around the hotel was noticeably more run down since the last time we were there. The staff were very kind and welcoming when we arrived and throughout our stay they were excellent. When we got to our room the door was stuck open and the door was extremely hard to close, there was constant light shining in through the door even when it was closed so a lot of noise came through from the hallway. There was no hand soap in our room for the sink, we didn’t have a do not disturb sign, there were stains on the floor and quite a few flys in the room when we arrived. Also the heater in the room didn’t smell very good when it came on, not sure if it was just dust built up on the coil from over the summer but I had to turn it off. Breakfast was great, it’s one of the main reasons I like this hotel. For the price I’d expect them to do a little more maintenance on the hotel keeping it in better condition.

Cleaning staff left a dirty towel and dirty paper towel in the room When looking out of our window my daughter commented on how there is a picnic table with “Staff!!!” Spray painted on it - it looks a little unprofessional. Pool and hot tub area was great - very pleasant man ensuring towels were always stocked . Breakfast area lady did a great job ensuring everything was stocked . Front staff were very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I have stayed here a few times now, and it is our go to hotel in Barrie! Close to everything and very clean and comfortable. The front staff are always friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

The fan in my room was so loud, I had to go through a huge hassle to change my room. The front desk clerk apologized and said that I would get a refund . However the next day, the manager of the hotel said because I prepaid through Expedia, I can't get any money back. So note to self, never book through Expedia. Also I wanted to charge my EV but the outside outlet shorted out and no one at the hotel bothered to re-set the breaker. So neither myself or another customer with an EV was able to charge overnight.
