Pluses: Very clean hotel, friendly staff, and lovely views. Minuses: Hardest bed ever, breakfast quality - only choose the waffles - and with only one waffle iron, prepare to wait. And then…. The noisy sea lions are a real issue!! They make noise all night, so be prepared. Leave the bathroom fan on for white noise. All in all, nice place, but a few quirks.

Little bit of an ant problem in the bathroom/kitchen of our room. Other than that, friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable bed, jacuzzi was clean and worked great.

The location of this hotel was what we enjoyed the most, river view. Our room was tidy (lacking cups and glasses) , but, the breakfast room had chairs that were quite dirty. I cleaned one of them with a wipe, then, noticed there were numerous others in the same condition and chose not to continue with that project. (This is the reason for the cleanliness score of poor) . Our room would have been more comfortable with another chair since we enjoy just sitting and watching the river. Staff was polite, especially the housekeeping staff ,whenever we saw them while coming and going.

Room 210 has a loud, persistent droning from the mechanics in the wall which permeates even ear plugs. It could have been a lovely stay with a balcony and a river view. Instead it was a sleepless nightmare.

The check in was awful. The people were nice, but they didn't seem to be able to figure out what was going on. They didn't know if the room was ready. They couldn't get the electronic key to work. The systems they work with didn't seem to work.

Nice location overlooking an old canning pier that has been turned into a lovely coffee shop and a brew pub. Sea Lions lounge on another pier and as sea lions do they fuss at each other constantly. I am sensitive to noise but barely heard them and found they were not a bother as the room was well insulated.

We really liked this hotel. The pool was nice and the location was amazing. We loved listening to the sea lions. Our only complaint is on other guests. I really wanted to leave the sliding glass door open to hear the sea lions but the other guests would go out on to their balconies and smoke. Also, the patio under the balconies they would smoke their as well.

The staff was courteous and efficient (shout out to DJ in evening). Room clean, comfortable and quiet (ear plugs help if you are sensitive to the sea lions). View is beautiful. Included breakfast is excellent. Thanks.

Beautiful location and a newer hotel. The room and hotel lobby and eating area and outside tables were all top-notch and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff was very friendly. They allowed us to get into our room early which was very nice and helpful so we could spend the rest of the day bike riding and exploring.

Love the view from this hotel. There's a walking path between the river and the hotel that was great. Parking was easy and plentiful. The breakfast was good and there were lots of options. Not a lot of seating for breakfast, but I think we went downstairs right during the rush. We'll definitely stay here again.

This is our second time at the property. The hotel is clean and nice. Easy parking and a nice location. Our room was clean. We checked in late and had to wait and try to find a front desk person for 15 minutes. Hard with two tired kids. Breakfast was nice and a lot of options. My girls enjoyed and staff there was nice and asked us before they closed if we wanted anything else. Check out the front desk was busy on phone and we just handed her the keys. Could have used luggage carts to help - could not find them. Overall pleasant stay.

We had a great time!! Jacuzzi tub was amazing. The only thing that sucked was hearing the sealions constantly bark all night and day lol but the room and view were gorgeous.

Expedia advertises the room I booked as their whirlpool room and I spent a month thinking about the bath I was going to take…..the hotel didn’t agree with the Expedia booking and I had to pay a bunch more at the front desk upon checkin for the room Expedia said I had already

We chose this hotel due to the reputation of the hotel chain. The view was lovely and the building was quite nice. The hotel seemed to be very short staffed. At check in, the young man at the front desk was polite and helpful but clearly not trained in how to use the check in systems. At check out, the young man at the desk was dressed in a ski jacket and toque and seemed unwilling to break away from his cell phone to print off our receipt. We always travel with our dog and, as such, are used to paying for the privelege of having our pet accompany us. At every hotel we have stayed at with our dog, we have had the use of dog bowls and bed for our pet. At this hotel, we were charged $75US for the pet stay (more than double what we have been charged at any hotel before) and received absolutely nothing for the charge other than a room with a worn out carpet and stains on the couch; no bowls, bed or treats for your $75. The room also had no water glasses and no stationary. In all, our stay was not at the level we would have expected for the price and the reputation of this chain.

One night stay in a river view room. Excellent. Great staff, room was clean and have a wonderful view of the river and ship activities. Sea Lion serenade sent me to a restful sleep in a comfortable bed. Good breakfast too.
