The bed in our room ( queen ) was not comfortable and felt like we were sleeping in a hole from center of mattress sagging/ compressed from being worn out.

Very pleasant large, King room with panoramic view of the Columbia River. Nice breakfast though it could have used some bacon & some fresh fruit. Everything was nice and bright & clean. Friendly staff that made folks feel welcome.

Everyone was so nice, the room was really clean and the bed... OMG.... So comfortable. Normally motels like that have overly firm beds but this one was perfect. I was in room 111

I stay here all the time and will continue to. But the bed was very uncomfortable. Also the shower curtain smelled of mildew.

Stayed two nights. Clean & Comfortable, nice people. Room is comfortable size. No air conditioning, but RARELY needed at the coast - and we didn’t need it. 😊 Furniture in nice shape, NOT worn. We had a King bed, way too soft but surprisingly comfortable! My back did NOT hurt either morning! THAT was a pleasant surprise.

We had our dog and were concerned about what "pet friendly" meant - but there were a number of dog families there and everyone was well behaved. Plus, the surcharge for a dog was less than anyone else. The location of our room made it extremely easy to take the pup out to do her business (and pick it up / dispose of it)
The accommodations were clean and comfortable - not fancy but we didn't want a Hyatt, the breakfast had many options. The staff was quickly available both when we checked in and out. The view is wonderful being right on the Columbia.

The room was very clean. I prefer a bed with more support. It was not terrible but not as good as I have had at other hotels. To be fair it also cost less than other hotels.

It was a very relaxing getaway for me and my wife. Everyone was very nice and helpful, the view was beautiful and atmosphere was so relaxing. It was quiet and perfect for us both. I definately would stay again. Thanks so much for everything!!

Worst customer service experience I have had at a hotel. Staff member was rude. Complained to the manger and she was even worse. We will never stay at the hotel again. So many other choices in Astoria to stay where you are treated with respect.
We have stayed her numerous times before. The property is really run down and clearly the quality of staff has declined too

The hot tub is amazing whether rain or sun , staff is always so nice , the beds and room are always so clean and super comfy, and the view is very beautiful.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. View was great from the second floor. Could have used a couple more bath towels to start off with and two bottles of the shampoos, and conditioners would have been nice since there was two of us.

I’m a single mother sort of on the run from a cult/group who trafficked my underage daughter. I was able to escape the situation but sadly have been on the run and because some of the people involved in trafficking my daughter were in the justice system so the harassment on my journey has not been great. At some hotels that I stayed at for more than a week, there would be electronic harassment which would include energy weapons and hacking. Energy harassment is a machine and they have to be in the room next to mine. It causes headaches, sore throat, blurry vision. It’s used mostly by law enforcement to target people. The weird thing was that these people would only show up at night to the room next to mine and use this machine. But when I would ask the gal the next day if someone was in that room, she would say no. But every night this person would show. Then there was an ice storm and the staff said they would not be there. This scared me because I would be alone with these people who were harassing me. The first night was horrible. Two people showed up at night and were loud and using the machine, and one guy would circle the ground and go around the compound past my room and I got nervous so I left a that evening and went to another hotel. I don’t know if the staff was involved but I got scared. Grounds and the view was beautiful.

My husband and I stay at the Astoria Crest whenever we're in the area. The staff is so friendly and you can't beat the view! Now that we're living in the area, we'll be having short, 1-night getaways every now and then. That's how much we love it. ❤️

We loved the view as it was high above the Columbia River, the grounds appeared to be nicely maintained and had at least two pet areas for dogs. When we got in our room however I was very disappointed... It seriously needed a major upgrade. In the bathroom the toilet sat so low to the ground you had to grab the bathroom counter to ease up and down safely. There were grab bars in the bath tub but appeared to be where they were used for towel racks. In the room itself the chairs sat rather low, making it very difficult to get in and out of with a disability. The heater control in the room had pretty much all the information on heat temps worn off the dial. So began the game of guess work of hot or cold. The bed was so soft it was almost spongy and not a very well supported bed. Plus it was very low to the ground, making it somewhat awkward to get out of. And in this day and age the majority of people who travel usually have few chargers they bring with them, and since it was me and my husband, we had to search for places for four chargers. So basically, we had to plug into the bathroom, one in a small open closet and the other had to be run by the patio door. I don't remember if we requested a ADA compliant room, which is what we normally do as we have some physical issues. If this is their idea of ADA complient think they need to reread the manuel.

Absolutely loved our experience there. Unbeatable view, very comfortable accommodations, pet friendly room, and, the view is unmatched. Great service, great location. We will definitely choose the Crest again as the home base for activities in the most beautiful and interesting corner of the world (to us).

It's all about the view! This very standard, basic hotel takes advantage of scenic Astoria. Simple watching the ships go by near the Columbia river is an enjoyable way to spend some time

The motel is on a beautiful piece of property at the edge of Astoria. The view of the river is breathtaking and you are close to the river trail for a nice walk. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is very helpful.

We stayed 2 weekend nights. Room was spotless, beds were amazingly comfortable, all plumbing worked as expected. Walls are pretty thin, so we could hear the neighbor’s phone conversation. View was awesome!
