There was no ac or any way to turn heater off. Otherwise it was a nice room.

Decent rooms at a decent price but our neighbors chose to sit at the table right outside our room smoking weed all night. The exterior door had small gaps and zero insulation so we didn't sleep at all and smelled their pot all night.

I regularly stay at this motel, it is older style but that is part of the charm and reflected by the very low rates. The staff are excellent, safe, quiet and you can walk to the stores and food outlets and Santa Monica Beach and downtown. Bikers will like the undercover parking.

Charming, Kitch Motel. Very friendly, helpful guy who works there in the mornings, drives a beautiful canary yellow Corvette. I recommend this place.

This place has unforgettable character. It is like a street in a tropical town in a decade before any I have known. It is perhaps reminiscent of a dream in which one appears at a motel, that could be an interpretation of Alice in Wonderland. It's safe and clean with colorful bedding. There was plenty of storage space in the room I stayed in, quite a few channels on the TV and a nice sized mini-fridge. There's a very convenient Chevron convenience store directly next door. The surrounding area is safe and lovely. It's about 1 and a half miles from the Santa Monica Pier.

Very good location. 40 minutes walking distance from the pier. No AC in the rooms but the weather was nice, so it was not difficult to sleep.

I'm 81 years old and have stayed in a great many hotels and motels. This is the worst both my wife and I have ever seen. We stayed in the room for 30 minutes and then left for home. I had thought that Expedia's endorsemebnt assured this place would be worth the money. It has no justification for charging more than $6/night.

I suppose you get what you pay for but to be honest my expectations were low and yet this place still didn’t reach them. The room absolutely stank of BO, there’s no air conditioning, there’s holes in the ceiling and bathroom cleanliness was lacking. The check in experience left a lot to be desired to say the least. My best advice would be sacrifice a great location and stay somewhere a lot nicer but further away. Do not recommend at all

Our stay was average to say the least. The room was very old and outdated. Beds were superhard and pillows were paper thin. Did not sleep well at all. We had a table and chair set up outside of our room each night there was a table full of guys drinking and being loud right outside of our room/window by the bed. Not alot of plugs to charge phones or plug things in. No cookies or fresh coffee as it said on the website. Not worth what we paid unfortunately!

Hotel was as expected for price paid. The only issue for me was no blackout curtain & as the forecourt of the motor has very bright lights, it cast a glow in room all night. I like a really dark room for sleeping! There is nothing close by this property for eating or to simply grab a coffee. You will definitely need a car.

Nice old retro motel we stayed at to end our trip on Rt 66 Do not expect amenities other than a clean room to spend the night in.

The exterior of the motel is lovely, the white and blue colour scheme is very Mediterranean and reminds you that the beach is close. The rooms are clean and a decent size, and the guy on reception was friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit tired, the decor needs a bit of a refresh. In one of our 2 rooms, the blind didn't work, the plumbing and water pressure in the showers wasn't great, the beds were squeaky,and the facilities are pretty basic. However, it was a great location, and was a fair price.

The bathroom door wouldn’t close. It was very hot in the rooms. I had to buy a fan myself to cool it down to sleep. There were no screens on a bedroom and the bathroom windows. Dirt on the floors in the corners. Beds were very hard

Our stay here was a great first experience, however there wasn’t much to watch on the tv , no door , tv or fan in the bedroom. Other than this it was nice.

It was nice having 3 beds in a single room. Staff was not friendly or helpful. Check-in took longer than expected, after providing license plate number the front desk demanded a picture of license plate, room was extremely hot since the heater could not be turned off, staff availability was limited. Parking is limited. Room extremely humid, weather was nicer outside but the windows either would not open or did not have screens. Laundry service very limited and dryer took multiple cycles to dry clothing. Toilet continually clogged and was unable to easily contact the front desk for assistance.
