It had its pros and cons. Pros: being right in historic downtown, being able to walk everywhere, great breakfast, nice rooms. Cons: no parking, loud music from nearby establishments. If you stay there, ask for a room on the other side of St. George St. In other words, on the east side of the building. It's definitely not like a regular hotel. It has a lot of character.

My Hubby and I went to have a care free mini vacation to rest and get away from our businesses. We wanted to stay in St. Augustine and be worry free of driving; which is why we chose this Bed and Breakfast. The ambiance was exactly what I wanted. It was like going to visit my grandma's house. The service was excellent. All of the Ladies were awesome and sweet, very accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We ended staying an additional day. I would definitely stay there again.

We had high hopes for our 4 night stay at the Augustin Inn but were sadly disappointed. Instead of charming ambiance we got threadbare stair runners, room furniture that might have been new in 1954 and a breakfast room better suited ambiance-wise to a Motel 6 than to a B&B. Instead of to-die-for-breakfasts we got out-of-the-carton from concentrate OJ, dishwater coffee, and unidentifiable, barely edible, hot dishes better suited to a soup kitchen than to a B&B. No fresh fruit. No fresh pastries. Not a single dish where you'd day, "I gotta get that recipe". There was a smart TV in our room but Netflix was available only because "Wayne", a previous occupant no doubt, had logged in to his account and hadn't logged out when he left. A similar shout-out to "Cynthia" for Hulu. I'm guessing that the premium TV line-up varies room by room with little, if any, of it courtesy of the Augustin Inn. Is it a total disaster? No. The mattress on our bed was comfortable, and the location can't be beat. With some effort and investment, the Augustin Inn could be fabulous. But it's a long way from fabulous today.

We really enjoyed staying at Augustin Inn. Super friendly staff, they were awesome. Loved our room. Breakfast was delicious as well. Excellent location! Parking was easy. We will definitely be back soon!

It is a great location if you want to walk around the historic area. The bands that plays outside the hotel only plays until 10pm on week nights so it didn’t bother us. We usually go listen to the music anyway. The staff leaves around 6pm so they just leave the check in instructions if you haven’t arrived by then. The breakfast was fine also plenty of food to buy just around the corner. The downsides.. we tried to use the jacuzzi tub but couldn’t get the water hot enough. Only one thermostat in the hallway for the floor. The carpet could use replacing/cleaning in some rooms and stairs. For the price and availability it was good.

We had a wonderful stay at the Agustin Inn. Our rooms were charming & comfortable, & Rose (general manager) & the rest of the staff were very friendly & helpful. Also, the location was perfect & was very close to St. George St. The gourmet breakfast was delicious! We are seniors, & Rose let us have her parking space so that we wouldn’t have to walk a long distance to & from another lot.

I really wish I knew that an outside stage was right next to the property on an adjoining lot before I booked. The property and everything about it was wonderful. The awful cover bands that played until midnight were decidedly less so.

The owner and staff were very accommodating in changing our reservation at the last minute so that we could have a room with a jacuzzi tub; we were very appreciative. The breakfasts were excellent! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had an excellent visit overall.

Location is excellent, right next to St George St. Some of the rooms overlook an outdoor bar with live music. We thought this might be annoying but the music was enjoyable and not too late in the night. The rooms are small, with some lower ceilings at the roof, bathroom was huge with a nice tub. Overall an enjoyable trip, would stay again

The room was clean. However, the hotel pictures you post do not look anything like the reality. In addition, we were met with earplugs in the table which puzzled us until we heard the music from outside our window directly downstairs. This music was LOUD and didn’t end until the rain stem came about 9pm night 1. Night 2, the music directly below our room stopped around 10 pm however to our north, another loud band from another bar was playing. We didn’t see this in the description nor were we told anything about this at check in.

This was our second time staying at the Inn and won’t be our last. Everything about the place is fantastic, the owner is extremely nice, the location is perfect. If your debating wether to stay here do yourself a favor and book this B&B! Thank me later oh and the cookies are amazing!!!!

The stay was nice. We will likely stay again. The quality does seem to have gone down a little since our last visit. Breakfast seemed to be more premade casseroles rather than the freshly prepared meals we have had in the past. The room was very clean and every effort was given to ensure our comfort. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The area is definitely loud, but that’s a given with the location. They provided earplugs as well as a sound machine. With those I was able to sleep very well. We parked our car and walked everywhere all weekend. It’s in the middle of everything. Absolutely perfect.

The staff was so helpful and friendly, very attentive but never intrusive. The breakfast was delicious, and I received a lovely gift on Mother’s Day! We had a wonderful weekend stay in a perfect location. Once we parked the car it was walking and biking all weekend. The ONLY downside was a little too much light coming through our blinds on the door to our private veranda, as we normally sleep with dark curtains. Not a big deal though, I will bring a sleep mask next time we stay here. Offsite parking was only a few blocks away, but you’re able to drop off your belongings first. You are able to hear live music playing at times, not obnoxious at all during our stay. We enjoyed sitting outside listening. I sleep with ear plugs anyway, so had no issues with things being too loud at any point. The Inn provides ear plugs as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Please need a little updating a few simple things would do so much for the place. #1 replace old worn outdoor mats. power wash wood decking and stairs. update bathroom replace toilet seat simple inexpensive items would do a lot

Loved the location - I'd never stayed within the Historic District and this was a WONDERFUL spot. We were able to walk around, come back and take a break and then walk to dinner. Service was friendly and welcoming -- we look forward to our next visit !

Rose at the front desk was very helpful. She went above and beyond to recommend us a few nice places where we could have dinner. And “Michael’s” was an excellent one. She even upgraded our room which was extremely nice and was very much appreciated.

The staff is absolutely fantastic! The breakfasts were great! My wife and I enjoyed ourselves so much. The only thing to be aware of is there is music next door that goes on till 10 or 11 pm. But that only affects you if you have a room on that side. The single best guest experience I have ever had! Would love to stay again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
