This property was SO well designed! I loved feeling so "fancy" while staying here. There were lots of clear directions for all the amenities. I loved how walkable it was - close to lots of food and entertainment!

We stayed at Lokal for our wedding weekend. It was absolutely perfect - the room was pristine and beautiful. There was spotify included in the in room iPad as well as in unit w/d. Check in was easy and we even got a complimentary bottle of prosecco! We highly recommend Lokal for any special occasion!

Such a special special special place. Gorgeous interior design and so my heart and thoughtfulness in the rooms. Super cool overall hospitality concept. Every detail was thorough and perfectly placed. Luxe without feeling stuffy. Lived in and homey while still being organized and subtle. Neighborhood was great and the in room guide was like your best friend giving the “lokal” scoop on where to go/eat/see. Couldn’t have been happier…unless an elevator could be added for carrying my kiddos belongings up the narrow and steep stairs. All part of the period-appropriate charm!

I love the whole "self check-in" option. I received all the info needed to access the building and room ahead of time and getting in was no problem. The "room" is bright, airy, and spacious; a cute studio apartment basically. We only stayed a night but it has everything you'd need for a longer stay, including a W/D. Located in a great part of town, with parking and lots of places to eat within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

One of a kind experience where you don’t have to check in with any concierge, but touch pad to get in. Beautiful decor, super informational with booklets around the room to show what’s good in the area and ontop of their customer service. Highly suggested to anyone!

Perfect location with absolutely everything you could ever need. We would definitely come back to stay here again. The staff were so lovely and accommodated an early check in for us as well. I can’t fault the Lokal Hotel at all.

We loved our stay here and wish it could have been longer! The room was so perfect. It was beautiful and had everything you could need to make it feel like home: from blankets, to a selection of teas, to shower products that I’d actually want to use. We went to the Sassafras market to pick up food to make for dinner, and the kitchen was fully equipped for what we purchased. I was so impressed by this place and we will definitely be back!

Everything was amazing and it’s a very amazing concept for a hotel. It was very beautiful with stone walls on the inside. It was also very spacious. The only thing that was a little upsetting was that the appletv in our room wouldn’t work, but it’s ok.

Loved Lokal! Perfect location in Old Towne Philadelphia. The room was very beautiful - hip and simple with lovely large windows. It was very easy to get in with the codes and there was a great book with many recommendations of what to do in the city. My only feedback is the bedroom in the Tina room does not have a window which made it a little stuffy but nothing that a fan (or turning down the heat) could have made better in retrospect. Highly Recommend if your'e looking for a place more like an apartment than a hotel!

We loved the quaint Old City vibe and the beautiful interior design. The neighborhood info book was cool. The 4th floor walk up in narrow stairway was a bit tough with our luggage. Some of the appliances were broken (microwave/oven, washer/dryer) so we couldn't really use the 'oven' to cook. As nice as the place was the toilet paper they use is like sandpaper. Just a small but important item for a luxury priced hotel.

Absolutely perfect. Truly apartment living in Old Town Philly. Just use your access codes to enter building and to enter room, which is essentially a very nice apartment with excellent towels and very clean. Cute coffee shop and Italian restaurant 50 feet from front door. Would definitely stay again. (Has stairs only, so not appropriate fit those of limited mobility.)
