Arrived, check in staff was amazing and helpful. Parking was very close (parking garage) Room was outdated, but very clean and spacious. Love that we were right on the beach and close walking distance to the Boardwalk and stores!

The hotel itself was amazing the only thing that held me back from 5 starts is the balcony was just a walk out ledge too small to put a chair on it and sip my morning coffee and watch the son come up. The bed was super comfortable, hard to find!

The 11th floor room we were given provided us with a nice view of the ocean. There was very little wait time for the elevator. The room rate for our February stay was very reasonable. What I thought would be an inconvenient was the parking but it turned out to be very nice having a patrolled lot. It was very secure! Wayne h .

Location was great- the best value around. However, the room could have used some upgrades.. but, if you like the 70s vibe and a really hard mattress.. then.. perfect! Please do your research before booking here.

The first room was extremely hot, had a major leak, run down. They did move us the 2nd night room was better but had strong fiah like smell but left patio door opened and it took care of smell. Was locked out of room for about 30 mins due to keys not working. Maintenance had fo change out lock. Over all was not a good experience. The managers were nice but just to much wrong.

The property was clean and staff was friendly. But the room was extremely dated, and they have strict clean up procedures for check out. Because it is a time share, they request you load and start the dishwasher before you leave, tie up the trash and set it outside your door, and place all towels in a basket, and clean up after yourself, otherwise there is a cleaning fee. The location is excellent, right on the beach and in the boardwalk. There's a convenience store right across the street.

The room we stayed in definitely could use some work. A little noisy at night with the bars next door. Didn't like the fact that there was no balcony sitting facing the ocean. Overall good location, close to shopping, restaurants etc.

Apartment was cute and was fully furnished with all kitchen needs. Definitely a little run down and in need of some updates but functional. The second morning we had no hot water. Hot tub was nice at night.

Couldn’t have asked for a better location or view. The property is old so you don’t get the WOW factor. Overall it was perfect for the price and location. Will stay there again.

i’m sorry but i lived in myrtle for years i’ve stayed in many hotels on the strip but the staff here is rude … the accommodations are non existent… the bath tub didn’t work as far as the jets it had trash in it and glass on the floor when we entered plus i had called prior because of the storm and hearing roads were close the person that answered was rude! and said “um well i drove to work” when i checked in unfortunately the 2 women at the desk were also so unpleasant! as i asked about parking i couldn’t even finish my sentence before “just wait i’ll get to that” like clean your rooms before people enter and don’t have a rude staff that’s right when you walk in . im the general manager for a place in the same industry and i would never recommend this place to anyone.

The room was alright. Yet, the room felt cramped. And the placement of the wall outlets, other than the bathroom, were very inconvenient. Returning to this resort in the future is very questionable at best.

The location is perfect and the rooms are very nice. It is a great location for everything. Have stayed here numerous times over 40 years. This trip was disappointing due to not having hot water to soak in the tub or shower before we went out. We didn't have hot water until the next day. The maintenance in the unit is severly overlooked.

We've been here twice with a large family. As such, we stayed in a room that would hold 8 people both trips. This room had a kitchen and a 6 person dining table. It was 2 bedrooms. Honest review: Ill start with cons: the resort is a bit dated and the rooms are more like maybe a 90's look? Our AC didnt work. We got to the room and it was 84 degrees. We got relief because it got cool at night and we opened both balcony slide doors. This hotel doesnt have "real" balconies. They were those that are about a foot wide. OUTLETS are an issue!!! Hear me!! If you stay here bring a power strip. Youll thank me later. There arent enough outlets and the ones that are there are hidden in nearly impossible inaccessible areas. I would also dare to venture the carpets need a good shampoo. No complimentary shampoos. We did have a jet bathtub in 2 different rooms but both broken. Rusty fridge shelves. No heated outdoor pool. Shared pool with hotel next door. Hot tub outside needed maintenance, like paint. Water looked dingy. Didnt use. Now pros: As far as rates go, the rates here in off season were reasonble. So reasonable, weve already been here twice. There are several pots, pans, flatware, casserole dishes, and cooking utensils with knives. You have what you need to cook meals in the room to save money. Theres a coffee pot with the filters. Bring your own coffee because i dont remember seeing coffee provided nor the sugar or creamer. Its in a prime location. Right on boadwalk. Next to pier.

I hated the fact that it didn't have a balcony. They need to update the heating/air conditioning unit. Someone has to come switch it over in the ceiling. Beds was not comfortable at all. It takes forever for the hot water to kick in.

After check in went to room only in there 3 mins and someone uses there key to open the door and come in room. Went to office they did change our room to another building. The heat didn’t work the entire first night we had to get them to send someone to fix the heat.

We visited Myrtle Beach for a couple days and decided to try the Yachtsman due to the location. The view was outstanding and there were numerous activities and restaurants nearby. The property is a little dated, but kept in decent condition and clean. It wasn't the most comfortable furnishings but was good enough.

Plumbing sucks, the shower drain is extremely slow causing you to stand in soiled water while showering. The thermostat doesn't work properly. This is for rm S901.

We stayed in the Junior suite. It was the perfect size for my 12 year old daughter & myself. Room was very clean. I have nothing negative to say about our stay.

Very good hotel with ocean front view. Its location is its asset. Beach is right behind the hotel. All the activities and shops in downtown are just walking distance. I could enjoy the great view and even sunbathe right from my room in the morning. Room is clean. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Parking garage is a 5 minute walk two streets across. I wish parking is a little closer, I understand that no hotel wants to leave space in the beach road for parking. There is no desk to work. If you plan to work from this location to work for a week, you will have to find alternate arrangements.
