Stay overall was pretty good, only reason I gave it 4 stars was because we were next to the utility room, and the door was smashed everytime workers entered the room, which normally started before 7:00am, several times per hour, no way to sleep later than that.. everything else was great

Junior Suite - absolutely spotless, spacious room. Staff all excellent. Breakfast - good choice and quality. Half Board - evening meal was more gourmet style as opposed to general cuisine so abit fancy for my son. Central location but room was quiet - would certainly recommend

Great hotel. Very clean. Spacious room. Lovely staff. Breakfast was excellent. Noon check helped a lot. Rooms are air conditioned but during winter it only allows the room to go down to 21C or thereabouts which was way too hot for us. The staff came up and opened the window fully for us which made it a lot more comfortable Great location, in a central location to the city sights. Very quite room even with a fully open window although we were towards the rear of the building. Take the 100E bus from the airport to the stop that is 5 minutes walk from the hotel Couldn't be easier...

Lovely hotel to stay at, the room was spotless and well maintained and was also cleaned and restocked on a daily basis. The reception staff were so helpful and nothing was ever a problem and made our stay more enjoyable and stress free.

Great location if you’re staying to be a tourist for the weekend. Only nag which isn’t the hotels fault is the noice. Next door up till 6am on the balcony and on the street it’s busy with drunk people due to location so close to the bar street.

If you are looking for a hotel with the best location in Budapest book Barceló!! It’s super close to many popular restaurants and bars, there are supermarkets next to the hotel. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful, the rooms were very clean.

A wonderful stay at Barceló Budapest. Straight in the center of Pest, vibrant area full of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is brilliant, super clean, staff always smiling and willing to help. Breakfast in great, both in salt and sweet areas . Definitely worth the trip. I’ll be back for sure

This is easily one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The hotel is beautiful and clean and well-maintained. The location is perfectly located to explore Budapest on foot and also easily accessible to transit, train and airport connections. The rooms are beautifully appointed. The standout here though is the staff. From housekeeping to reception, every single person was warm and helpful and kind and had great recommendations for my stay in the city. A major standout was Petra who spent more time than she needed to trying to help me translate a webpage to book a train ticket and then followed up with me the next day to make sure everything was in order. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough!

I liked the modern decor of the room, the size of the bed and how comfortable it was. Tea and coffee facilities was also very welcome and these were replenished each day. The location of the hotel was ideal for the city centre and was in a quiet side street.

Everyone at Barcelo was really friendly, the breakfast was very good and the room was nice and clean. The location is AMAZING, you can walk everywhere, it's super central and close to public transport too if you need it. Would definitely recommend!

The only issue I had had was that the breakfast foods were not very warm and coffee was cold out of the machine but waiter heated coffee up for me,not a big problem

Lovely hotel within walking distance of the majority of attractions. Good transport network nearby although we did not use it since we walked everywhere. Really clean room and very comfortable bed. Lots of good bars and restaurants in the area. Although the area was busy, there was no noise from the street outside. Lovely toiletries provided and a good, powerful hairdryer in the room. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay with Barceló again. Really enjoyed our stay.

We arrive at 2am and had a friendly welcome and check in was prompt. The room was modern, clean and well equipped. The breakfast was buffet style with a lot of choice. It kept us going all day. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the city, perfect for getting around and a 10 min walk from the airport bus stop. It has a welcoming reception area and the reception staff are very helpful. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! We had a balcony with our room…not such a great view however, it’s nice to sit outside and relax. We will definitely return.

A very nice hotel with good breakfast buffet. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the roof terasse anymore as it was too cold in the evenings. You willfind everything you need in quick walking distance from the hotel.

Fantastic location in the city centre but quiet as very little traffic. The hotel is clean and modern, the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast buffet offers a wide range of fresh tasty options. Room was clean and comfortable with everything you need. Would highly recommend.

This hotel is gorgeous! So many stylish details and a super comfy bed. Nice location as we, with lots to do around it. We wish we could have stayed longer! If we ever return to Budapest, we are definitely staying here.

Had to make a last minute booking as flight home cancelled and we couldn’t extend stay at previous accommodation. Reception staff super friendly, went to hotel early (11:30) with aim of leaving cases until We could check in at the advertised 15:00, but they we’re happy for us to check straight into room which was really appreciated. Room great standard, clean and fresh feel - especially given what I’d paid.
