Room was not clean with dirty used pillow and bed sheets. I dont think they even washed them. For check in , he took photo of credit card for deposit which i didnt like.

The Ritz Inn was much lower price than anywhere else in the area. The room was clean and comfortable with microwave and fridge.

When I went to my room the door was already open, and the sheets had like lint on it. When I got moved to a different room the bathroom floor was gross and when I woke up the mattress cover was showing because they barely made the bed and it looked like somebody peed all over it. I knew I was staying at a cheap place but I’d prefer it not to look like a crime scene.

I thought this was a 2 star level motel when I booked it. Turns out it was a 1 star and that made me hesitant at first. But the place was clean enough. Sheets smelled a bit like bleach, which is much better than almost any alternative. Staff was friendly and check in was smooth. Not the greatest (safest) area, but definitely not the worst. It was equivalent to other two star properties I have stayed at. Works for when in a pinch or just needing a bed for the night. If I was staying in the area for more than that, I’d probably upgrade. But that’s my opinion. Celia’s restaurant just down the street is super yummy and a very short walk. 5 stars for what it’s worth and being technically a 1 star stay.

The room 221 is terrible only because the light from the hallway is right outside the window and shines all night through the broken blinds. I got zero sleep the first night. I stay here a lot and this time kinda upset me.

Cleaned and remodeled Mom n Pa units. Minor loose parts, like toilet paper holder. Cheap coffee, soap, shampoo etc. No cups, pen or tissues.Entry card works 1 time out of 10.... etc. Family owners should stay 4 the experience 2 make minimum improvements 2 b competitive.

Checked in because it was close to the airport. Rooms are sparse in what they offer. A sachet of shampoo for one person, a small bar of soap, and almost nothing else. The biggest problem was the sound when a person was walking in the room above. And the second problem was the noise from outside - a bunch of people stood outside and chatted till 1 a.m., which I could hear clearly and couldn't sleep. None of this is because of the owners of the property, but it did create issues.

Very nice week-stay... the ice machine died after the 3rd day. :( Close and very convenient to where I had to visit each day in Daly City. I have stayed here before and will do so again in Feb. 2024.

Love that it was close to the SF airport, but also didn’t like that we saw a couple of roaches in our hotel room during our stay there.

This property may not look like much, but it is so lovingly cared for. The family that operates it takes such immaculate care of the space. The planters are lovely, it’s an old property that they have worked on updating well, and it was super duper clean. I will definitely come back. Amazing!

Driving along the road, I would not have given this motel a second look. But I was looking for a clean place to sleep (which was all I was doing given long days and early mornings) that was near the airport and didn't cost $150 a night. The rooms at the Ritz have been very nicely upgraded, including a nice-sized bathroom and shower, larger mini-fridge, microwave, and A/C, and are extremely clean. There is a large TV with Dish TV, a work table, and very comfortable bed. The street noise can be intermittently noisy at night, but some earplugs and a white noise machine took care of that. The family that owns the property is very nice. I would stay here again.

Cheap, but ceiling on bath have not been repaired and insulation from inside ceiling is dropping on the bath floor. The vanity sink is clogged.

When i booked on Expedia i was not expecting the outside to look like a Jersey Shore motel from the 80's, but the inside of the rooms was spotless, clean, comfy. No complaints.

Don’t judge this hotel by its outside appearance, which is dated. My room was %100 renovated, bathroom included; new commode, vanity and shower. Bed appeared new, bedding Was new, new Samsung TV and the price was right.
