Some friends and I stayed for the weekend at this property and LOVED it. We were skeptical at first as there had been a few bad reviews and the neighborhood was not our top choice, but we could not have been more satisfied with our experience. As for the neighborhood, the convenience of the location was unbeatable. It was a 2 minute walk to the subway that went straight to the heart of Philly. 20 minute trip to city convention hall tops. The reviews spoke mainly to the cleanliness. We assumed people were put off by the surrounding area and discounted the property as a result. We did not have any issues with the area and in fact found the home to be super clean, pretty, and cozy. On top of the high level of cleanliness the host was extremely friendly and helpful, which was something we really appreciated. We HIGHLY recommended this property, especially for anyone in town for a convention or event downtown. We will be looking for any opportunity to rent from this host again and will be keeping an eye out for this property the next time we are in Philedelphia.

The neighborhood is unsafe to say the least, the rampant crime is evident. At the door, roaches greeted us. Not wanting to bring these little fellas home as an unexpected souvenir, we immediately left. My family was very excited to stay there, we were so disappointed but gladly drove hours to get somewhere else.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! If anyone is considering staying at this VRBO, I implore you look at the google street view of this area. It is in a not THE WORST AREA of Philly, which is left out of the pictures and description. Our host never gave us the check in information, and was completely unresponsive day of check in. We were promised a full refund from the host for reasons, but went ghost on VRBO and us. Never heard from them again, after that. Be warned, this VRBO is sketchy.

House is great, everything was clean and the beds were all presented nicely w towels etc. Everything you need was included. AC in each room was awesome, I run hot, others run cold so that made sleeping very comfortable. For what we needed, it was great and parking out front was readily available. The single caveat is that the neighborhood is not great, and I live in downtown Baltimore. If you're okay with city living and are aware of this beforehand I think this house is a great stay at a very fair price.
