The location was right in the historic Pieterskirk area. So wonderful to walk right out onto historic alleys, especially atmospheric at night. The downstairs suite was spacious, had a lovely king bed and very nice bathroom. Our host gave us some tips and restaurant recommendations.
The breakfast basket brought by our host was great, but you had to make your own coffee, and despite him having given some instructions the day before, I could not get the espresso machine to make more than weak coffee, there was no option for decaf for my husband, and no creamer or milk provided on our first morning.

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B in Leiden. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and caring, and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay.
The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options, and the location was perfect—just a few minutes’ walk from the botanical gardens, as well as the main shopping streets, restaurants, and cafés.
The room was great, and the whole place had such a beautiful, fun, and charming atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. I would definitely stay here again if I’m back in Leiden!

Clean comfortable room. Close to the centre of Leiden which is definitely worth the visit. AND an absolutely fantastic breakfast. Fred was also a great host.

Staying at historic Het Waterhof was a rare treat. The hosts were helpful, friendly and very responsive. Right in the center of Leiden, the property was the perfect place to call home. We highly recommend staying here!
