The Italian restaurant provided excellent food, the site itself was very well maintained, the lodge was tidy, neat and comfortable and the decking and hot tub were a great addition.
The second bedroom on the lodge was on the small side, the beds were not full size single beds, perfect for a family with two young children, not so perfect when the children are in their 20's. To be fair, there were bigger lodges available, I will make sure that next time I do a little more detailed investigation of a lodge before booking. It was a shame that there was no shop, or cafe on site (I do like a cooked breakfast on holiday), according to site maps and signs, it looks like there was a cafe at one point. It would be nice to know when the "Wellness Centre" or swimming pool will be completed, it looks like it has been "Coming" for quite sometime.

The set up was good ideal for visiting and golfing in st Andrew's would come back again . Nice sitting outside with use of hot tub plus been dog friendly .Would recommend it to other people.
Internet was rank it advertised Netflix but the Internet wasn't strong enough to fire it up had to use council tv which is poor if your promote Netflix as a selling point. I also tried to do some work email but abandoned that as it was taking ages.This really need to be addressed cause if you are paying on average £300 a night you would expect Internet.

Very clean, great location 5mins outside St Andrews in the car.
Beds weren’t very comfortable
