Amazing location right at the beginning/end of Montepulciano old town. Apartment has a high standard whilst still showing some original charm, we especially liked the beautiful bathroom. Check in/out was smooth and easy. Parking area 7 is close by and we were lucky enough to almost always find a free slot during our stay.
Since it’s an old building without AC it can get rather humid which also then smells and stays in the clothes. To keep in mind in case you have issues with that.

So full of character and beautifully appointed. We enjoyed wine on the balcony before going out for dinner in the evening and loved the location. Loads of space, a gorgeous bathroom area that made getting ready in the evening a pleasure. Great directions from the host about the free parking nearby too.
Nothing - it was glorious. Although there wasn’t air conditioning, there was a very effective fan and the solid stone building kept the inside quiet cool, even in the middle of July! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, although there are stairs to the bathroom so if you have accessibility issues this one isn’t for you.

Due to traffic limitations in the city, this is a perfect location, just at the entrance of the citadel. It is also very close to the P7 free parking, so another plus. The apartment is very cozy and tastefully decorated, combining the old with a modern bathroom. The accommodation we stayed in was big an spacious and the bed very comfortable.
I would assume it is a very common fact in the citadel (and also quite difficult to get rid off), but as you enter there is a strong smell like old stuff or like damp. You get used to it quite fast, but it is very striking at the beginning.
