Excellent staff and accommodation more than made up for lack of lift.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. lovely old building which has been tastefully modernised. Great location.

Lack of a lift is a significant drawback, especially with reception on the first floor. Driving away from the property very tricky - would be good to have advice on the best route.

Posizione ottimale e strategica per girare Montepulciano e raggiungere i luoghi più iconici della Val D'Orcia. Colazione a buffet sia dolce che salata molto ricca. Personale molto gentile e disponibile, ottima pulizia della camera e degli spazi comuni. Possibilità di parcheggiare nei pressi della struttura.

Loved our stay at Albergo & have no hesitation recommending this accomodation.

Fantastic location. Was able to drive in and drop off the bags and then park for free in a designated parking area, just needed to provide your licence plate number to reception. Breakfast room was lovely and good coffee and cooked breakfast supplied. The staff were friendly but feel they could have been short staffed as it took some time to clear the tables. Our room had a lovely view down to the main street but with the windows shut the room was very quiet.

Their is no lift in this building so if you have problems carrying suitcases up 3 flights of stairs ask for a lower level room. The pillows were hard.

A beautiful family run hotel in Montepulciano

The staff are very friendly and they help us with tips to visit and enjoy the food and wine in Montepulciano..the breakfast was good and the lady making eggs was very kind..comfortable and clean room and the terrace over the valley was a bonus..

Relaxing and comfortable stay in a historic building

Charming and elegant historic property in a great location. The owner was very welcoming. We asked for two rooms next to each other and the setup was perfect. The parents had a huge double room with balcony and amazing views over the Val D’Orcia. The kids had their twin room right next door with similar views (doubtful they appreciated it!) We only stayed one night but wished we had booked for longer as Montepulciano is beautiful.

Decent accommodation

It’s a great location just by the entrance of the gate. They provided a free, local parking for you which is a short distance from the gate. Erika upgraded our room. The breakfast was good!

Location was great, right in the historic town. Walking distance to everything. If you don't fancy walking, there's little busses that can take you around. Staff was amazing, receptionist, breakfast service and housekeepers all very friendly. The owner gave us an upgrade upon check-in, a room with an extra bed as she saw us with a toddler. Room was on the top floor with city view. Even tho is an old building, the facilities were clean, towels were soft and many. Beds very comfy too.

The stairs. Too many to climb especially when with heavy luggage and a toddler.

we had a great time staying in the heart of Montepulciano

great location! will ask to get a room on the first floor. great parking spot outside the hotel

there was no elevator, if you are travelling with large bags its a lot. the checkout was rushed at 10:30 am a little too early.

the location was convenient for walking to everything, and our balcony was lovely.

the manager and staff of the property spoke very little English, so we weren’t able to get restaurant or any other recommendations, as we usually do while traveling in Europe.

Historical place on historical city, all great!

Excellent location, very nice and helpful owners and personel. No problem with the parking. Clean room. Tasty breakfast with fresh crossaints, ham, eggs and fruits. Highly recommended! Almost Perfect.

Plastic disposable cups could be replaced by normal cups or maybe even cheap glasses. Boiling water should not be poured into such cups, its a health risk.

Beautiful hotel & great location!

the property was very quaint and typically Italian. gorgeous views from the terrace / balcony across Tuscany. situated right in the centre, perfect location. it was also extremely clean. we had freshly cooked eggs for us at breakfast… the best scrambled eggs we’ve had!

there was no lift so a bit difficult if you have luggage

The antiques were also beautiful and made the hotel feel warm and welcoming

Breakfast was excellent. From warm freshly cooked eggs to the creamy ricotta and delicious bruschetta. The cappuccino was one of the best so far in our Italy travels. The person helping in the breakfast area was kind and gracious.
