Location was good for Paddington railway station and Hyde Park plus restaurants etc. The room was small but clean and decent value for money. I liked the shower, powerful and overall clean. There are no facilities in the hotel for food but you do get a fan, kettle and refrigerator.
A softer pillow would have been nice but not a negative.

The man at reception was very nice, even helped me with my bag to the room (as I had a few and there is no lift). They kept my bags in the morning before check in and after check out.
The half-a-shoe-box room was not what I expected. But maybe I only have myself to blame for not doing more research. The shower was in the "bedroom". There was no sink in the room. The private bathroom was just down some steps down with a passcode lock, barely big enough for my knees (I'm 5'5 or 165cm). I don't know why there was a kettle in the room on a small "table" which is more like a ledge at the end of the single bed. The "wardrobe" had 3 hangers so thankfully I was only staying 2 nights and it was one of those open concepts. First time brushing my teeth under a shower head without taking a shower. (Pro tip, lower the head as much as possible). No way I was gonna manage to brush my teeth or wash my face in the "toilet room" as there was a mirror cabinet that reduced what little space there was, plus the sink was tiny.
