A few well placed chairs to sit with a glass of wine in the sunshine would make a great addition.

Wine shop remains very affordable, particularly with the 10% discount. Equally the views out are amongst the best we've had in any hotel, a real treat. Great balcony in the top floor rear rooms above the restaurant.
We have stayed here many times, a few in 503 which is massive (more expensive room) and a few in the smaller doubles. This time we were put in 502 which is priced identically to 503 but is a third of the size - small enough for a family to feel cramped in.
The dining experience was appalling - it has been getting worse in the last few years and hit the absolute low this time. Having to request items multiple times (4x asks for water, eventually getting it 25 minutes after seating), waiting 90 minutes for food to arrive and getting undercooked chicken. We observed other guests give up on waiting and walk out to dine somewhere else; unfortunately with young children we couldn't afford that luxury. We'd reserved an 8pm seating (earliest option) only to be told a mistake had been made and 8:30pm was the earliest they could do. That's all good but our dessert was not served until 10:30pm. One could say this place is not suited for young families but they do allow & cater for them so I'd expect them to be able to cope.
For 330 euros for 1 night and dinner it was shockingly poor value.
