Beautifully designed hotel with a breathtaking view of Mount Kazbek and a warm, cozy atmosphere.
A special thank you to the staff. They noticed that it was my birthday, and when I checked in, I found a lovely cake waiting for me in my room. It was such a thoughtful surprise and made me feel very special.
I noticed a few small details that could be improved. There weren’t enough towel hooks in the bathroom, the kettle didn’t work properly, and the cord on the bedside lamp was wrapped with tape. These are minor issues and may not apply to every room, but luxury is all about the details.
The hotel restaurant has always been the one area that could be improved. Although the staff have become much more professional over the past few years, the kitchen still struggles to keep up with the number of guests. On Saturday evening, service was quite slow, and even at breakfast we had to wait a long time for coffee.

Lower floor forest view has obstruction. Balcony’s privacy for Mountain View rooms maybe a frosted glass partition could help avoid noise and surprise neighbors

The location indeed is great. The cleaning crew were nice and attentive, also the cleanliness of the property was good
The service was out of this world. Starting with the front desk - rudeness, rolling the eyes, not apologizing for the delay of the room readiness. Especially wanted to highlight the bad service of the front desk supervisor Ana. Later on we figured out it was just a good start. The service in the restaurant doesn’t exist at all - waiters don’t know the ingredients of the dishes from the menu, my example “next to the chicken liver pate it was mentioned the vegan sign, waiter didn’t have any information and later on didn’t manage to collect it from his colleagues neither”, they shout at each other during the breakfast service in front of the customers faces, rolling eyes culture is a distinctive mark of this hotels staff. We should just be grateful they didn’t spit in out dishes but who actually knows.
