About this house rental
Located in Arvada, this lovely house for $139 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Niki's Colorado Country Cottage - Welcome to our short-term and extended stay guests! Enjoy a Cottage with remodeled main bath (Dec 2022), refurbished with additional seating, 2022 (Family Room), other rooms newly refurbished in 2021 (Master, Living Room, Kitchen) and new appliances coming in 2023. We want our guests to enjoy their stay in our Colorado home, thus each year we make changes/updates to our homes. Our Colorado Cottage is a GREAT location, easy access to I-70 (West to Mountains), Red Rocks Amphitheatre (Fabulous concerts!), I-25 South to Denver & Colorado Springs, I-36 into Boulder, 2 miles into Olde Towne Arvada. Easy access to Broncos games, Coors Field, Mission Ballroom in Denver, South & West for Skiing, Rafting, Hiking, Biking, Pikes Peak, too many wonderful places to see & activities, to list! We welcome Traveling medical personnel, professionals who are working on projects, individuals who are "escaping" harsher weather climates :); those who require a home while searching for a new home or remodeling their current home. 3b2b home west of Denver, wood fireplace, patio in private backyard, deck off of master bedroom. Front to back tri-level with walkout to covered patio which has 2 fans/lights for evenings. Furnished home with all amenities, wi fi, streaming, bedding, linens, towels, kitchen utensils, dishes and bake/cookware. Olde Towne Arvada is a wonderful place for shopping, restaurants or just walking - pretty, clean, safe. We hope you enjoy our home & have great memories of your stay in Arvada, CO! We appreciate our guests advising us when items may need to be repaired/replaced so we can assure our homes are maintained for future guests. We are usually able to make the repair/replacement ourselves & expedite. However, at times, repair/replacement could be delayed, depending upon availability/scheduling of parts &/or maintenance/repair professionals, Welcome to our home and we look forward to having you as our guest! I booked this house for my micro wedding and reception weekend. During that time we had a multitude of problems, starting with the wifi going out in the middle of my party so we no longer had music. This issue took the owner 24 hours to fix on a 3-night stay.
The washer apparently broke the day I checked in and the owner had a removal and delivery of the new washer from 1p-5p the day after my wedding when I was supposed to be hosting another gathering. Because of this inconvenience, I had to move the gathering to a public space. After the washer removal, the carpeting on the main set of stairs was sopping wet. When we had friends over that night we had to host on the main floor instead of downstairs because the wet carpeting made the floor slippery and we were worried about safety.
The owner was present for the delivery and removal but did not notice the drenched floor. We were also asked in the instructions to clean up the rental (wipe down everything) when we paid a cleaning fee and they have a housekeeper (as mentioned in the checkout instructions). Lastly, the front door knob seems broken and caused us issues when trying to let our guests in the house. I will not be booking this rental again and do not recommend it.

Very comfortable place. Short walk to Olde Town Arvada with excellent dining options. Easy access to Hwy 70. Safe neighborhood. Everything in good working order. TV and internet worked after owner patiently helped me reboot router. Would stay again.

My family and I stayed for 2 weeks and felt right at home at Niki’s place. Location was great, close to Aravada old town and down town. We were in Denver for work and enjoyed coming home at the end of the day to enjoy the backyard and bbq. Home was clean and in a quiet neighborehood. Niki was very accommodating during our stay and we look forward to staying again. Thanks again Niki!

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful VRBO rental near Old Town Arvada! The house is nicely appointed with room for as many as six adults. We lacked for nothing and felt very comfortable in this home. Anything you might need, food and other wise, can be found easily and quickly at the myriad of stores, shops, and restaurants just a short drive on Wadsworth Avenue. Other places in the Metro Denver can be quickly accessed via I-70 of I-25—the mountains and ski resorts, included. Niki is accessible and quick to assist if needed. We spent a lovely, cozy Christmas week in this rental just minutes from our daughter’s house in Westminster. I highly recommend this rental in Denver—beautiful, comfortable and convenient. You won’t be disappointed.

The property met all of our expectations. It was very clean. Communication with the property owner was very good. The property owners responses were always very timely. Property owner was also flexible. Arvada is a great neighborhood. I walked the neighborhood most mornings of our stay and I had no issues with safety. I would stay there again.

House was fine for our needs except that the one toilet leaked. The owner was notified the first day we were there but it was never fixed. We had to clean it up everyday. There also weren’t 4 comfortable chairs in the same room so we could sit and talk or watch TV together. It was easy to get to Arvada, Golden and Boulder as well as Denver.

The down stairs toilet had a leak, we kept a towel on the floor. The master bedroom, blinds in the one window, needed dusting. I really wish there were mini blinds or drapes in the master bedroom large sliding door and in the living room bay window. I felt totally exposed dressing in the master bedroom because of lack of privacy. Even if someone was in the front yard, looking into the bay window (living room) they could see into the master bedroom.
We have stayed in many Vrbo and have never had to strip the beds down, put all of the linens and towels in a hamper, put away the clean dishes, wipe down the kitchen counter tops and take out the trash. Very unusual, especially since a house keeper was coming in right after our departure.
The location was easy to get to Golden, Denver and Idaho Springs.

Beautiful home. Great location, close drive to MANY places. When our dog got out of the dog pen, the whole neighborhood even came together and helped us find her. Highly recommend this rental!

The house was in a perfect location. Not far from downtown Denver, we found it easy to navigate through the city. The home was nice and more spacious than we anticipated. We liked the size of the kitchen, plenty of counter space. The bedrooms were a good size and the living area was easy to relax in. Overall, it was a great stay, would stay again.

The property was very clean, and super convenient. Enjoyed much of Denver, as well as a couple pretty easy drives into the Mountains. We will definitely look to this house again when we return to the area.

My parents and I stayed here with my dog and had a wonderful experience. Niki responded to any questions I had right away. The house is in a lovely neighborhood that was great for walking the dog. The yard was fully fenced in as well for her. We all felt right at home there. We also got to see some beautiful sunrises in the morning out in the back yard.
