Thanks for the shuttle service provided, if not will be very inconvenient

Onsen in the room is very shiok

No lift, need to climb stairs to reach our room. Also hotel is far from train station but near to some attractions.

Very nice

Very friendly staff. Came to pick us up at xinbeitou and drove us to beitou when checked out. Very large room, japanese style. Right near the hot springs. Chinese breakfast as usual but has coffee.

The hot spring in the room is good.

The hotel is very old and in general the environment it not that clean. Staff or owner at breakfast time is really not kind.

Nice.

The private hot spring is good. Staff are polite and very helpful. We had an early check-out so they were kind enough to prepare packed breakfast for us.

I hope the common hot spring was functional.

Excellent service from staff, homey and warm vibe, comfortable stay at a great price.

Staff are extremely warm and friendly and were eager to help in any way. The whole stay felt very homey, like it was run by a small and tight-knit family and while the hotel is indeed very old, our rooms were very clean and the daily maintenance was done well. Breakfast was plan congee with a wide variety of condiments and additions from vegetables to egg and braised nuts. There is also plain bread with jam and butter spread. It is probably suitable for an older Asian palate, but filling all the same. You can easily walk to the convenience store which is about 1 minute away to grab pastries or other breakfast (or supper options). While the hotel isn't located very near the train station, the staff are more than happy to ferry you to and fro the hotel and station whenever you let the concierge know in a private car. The beds and futons were both very comfortable, and the hot spring water is directly pumped into your private bathroom. This is a very small hotel so amenities are limited but for the price point it's still very reasonable and a great deal.

Not much, but the place is just very old, the public bath was not open and looked like it was not maintained. It would be nice if there was also a public bath available.

A homely hotspring hotel stay.

Very happy that we made the choice to stay at Phoenix Pavilion Hot Spring Hotel. Located a short walk from Xinbeitou MRT station, the area is quaint and quiet. The hotel shuttle service was always available for us which was super convenient and walking back to the hotel at night would be a little dark. The staff were all so lovely and the sweetest 阿媽 oversaw the hotel - she treated us like we were family and always made sure we had breakfast before we left which was a hearty traditional Taiwanese breakfast. Each room had their own private onsen which was so relaxing to come back to after a long day. One thing I wanted to highlight was that we had arrived early in the morning on our first day and had gotten off a long international flight and were desperate for a shower. The hotel staff without hesitation, took us up to one of the private onsens and also gave us towels to use then 阿媽 of course wouldn’t let us go without feeding us breakfast - what a godsend and a true depiction of the service at Phoenix Pavilion Hotspring Hotel.

staff were very accommodating - very welcoming to a non Chinese speaker

Clean and convenient

The place was clean and tidy. Very value for money. The hotel has free shuttle to bus stops and to Beitou or Xinbeitou MRT station. I like it that I can soak in the hot spring water in the comfort of my room. The location is actually within distance to Thermal Valley.

Complimentary pickup service - need to call them and wait by Sushi Express outside xinbeitou station. Clean, value for money, simple local breakfast (no meats), big rooms for family, nice baths

Complimentary toiletries are really disposable standards, I suggest you bring your own

Comfortable, clean hotel with kind staff

The staff is great, very kind, friendly and professional. The hotel is nice, the room was clean, the hot spring was extremely good. The bed was too soft for me so I was not so comfortable during the night. Overall a great experience.

Very good

The hotel is close to the thermal valley, which means that it's not close to the metro station. The hotel provides shuttle service from the metro station to the hotel but we didn't take it cos we wanted to walk a bit uphill as a small workout. Every room has its own thermal bath so you can enjoy your hot spring moment anytime you want. There is a convenient store within a few minutes walking distance and 2-3 small restaurants near the hotel. The room is decorated in a Japanese style which I love it. And the price is budget too.

It is not my first time to stay in a hot spring hotel but it's the only hotel which doesn't provide normal hot water. It doesn't have a separate shower room so you have to clean your body in the bath tub and have your hot spring bath at the same tub. I think it's a bit inconvenient and I have a smell of sulphur for 2 days (I'm ok with it but I think some people may not like it). The sound proof is not good and I can hear people chat in my bathroom.

room is spacious, onsen is great, there is shuttle service to drive and pick you up at nearby places. beds are comfy, staffs are great.

sound insulation was not good enough as we can hear our neighbor talking in the bathroom. breakfast was standard (porridge).

Big room and uncomplicated check in. Shuttle service to xin beitou. Comfortable bed.

Room had a smaller hotspring tub than on the pictures, however had a bigger living room than in the pictures. AC can't heat, only cool down.

This price is pretty Ok

Pickup service from Metro to hotel is really convenient we don’t need to wait too long before car is coming. Hot spring is nice and clean as well as the room.
