Private hot spring in our own bathroom ♨️, Super convenient location, just 2 minutes’ walk from Xinbeitou Station, Convenience stores, drug stores, and food options right next to the hotel, Close to Beitou’s main attractions
Old-School Design but nice and comfortable, and a family-friendly place to stay. The breakfast wasn’t fantastic, but there was quite a good variety of options, which was great for having a quick meal before heading out for the day. You can also use the self-service laundry room, with both a washer and dryer available. Detergent can be purchased from a coin machine, which is very convenient.
The walls between rooms might be a little thin due to the building’s older structure. We heard some loud conversations from the neighbouring room on our first night, but didn’t hear anything for the rest of our stay. It may have been because the neighbouring room was empty afterwards.

Soup served in the breakfast buffet is good. The location isvery near to MRT and also the bus stops. Easy to find foods and also one supermarket besides the hotel entrance. The hotspring bath is very big enough for 2 people.
I got a room with no window.

The staff were professional and very friendly the doorman was a great happy guy, a nice touch.

Chyuan Du Spring Resort (one night in north Taipei, thin hotel but old posh inside).
The reception staff here were nice and friendly. The onsen was hot but didn't have the full white sulfuric water you might expect. The decor inside was a bit dated, but beds were comfortable. There was lots of space inside the room.
Location was good if coming from the nearby train station. It's not worth walking from the red line as it's all uphill.
The breakfast was OK but a bit limited.
This hotel set off my allergies, so I'm not convinced it was that clean. No other hotel in Taiwan (out of 9) did this.
