The smell of humidity was overwhelming, the ample amount of air fresheners masked the smell to a certain degree but my entire suitcase smelled of humidity. I cut my trip short as I couldn't attend meetings smelling like mould. It's clear this room did not get much fresh air.

Slightly run down but affordable hotel in good location just off Newport boulevard. Would be nice to have free coffee in lobby as machine in room only makes 1 cup ( we were 2 people) and restaurant charges $3.50 for a regular cup of coffee. No maid service while there for 2 nights. Fair rating.

Very nice place to stay but our room was a little outdated. Still, great location and a very friendly staff. We did not try the restaurant there as we were meeting several different friends for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Didn’t start off great, arrived at 2:50 (check in is at 3) got kind of a short response from the employee that my room wasn’t ready and I’d need to come back. Went back in at 3:10 and was told my room still wasn’t ready, I informed them I had a dog in the car and really needed to check in as it was getting hot out. They told me they were having termite inspections so they had a lot of rooms that still needed to be inspected and since I had a dog that made it more difficult as they have only some pet friendly rooms. I understand it isn’t the direct employees’s fault but either way I need my room because my dog was getting hot and she is disabled so I really needed a room. They seemed to be unsure what to do, eventually I said I’ll take ANY room that is dog friendly, so they gave me two queen bed room instead of a king. Not sure if they would have figured that out themselves oddly… anyways the room was very mediocre at best. The carpet was disgusting (socks were black after walking around for 15-20 mins). Why have carpet in a dog specific room??! Wallpaper peeling off everywhere and just kinda sad looking room overall. It wasn’t super disgusting, but I definitely felt a little icky the whole time I was there. Also the door handle wouldn’t turn from the outside so you had to slam the door every time you left. The air conditioning unit was a little stinky as well.

Decent hotel for the money. We were only there one night, did not get to experience the pool. Road noise is loud. Beds were fine. Room very basic. Staff was nice and helpful. Location good.

Room clean, easily accessible, restaurant had good food- I had dinner delivered, it was good and delivered in timely manner. Pool area nice, did not use but walked through with key entry and enclosed area.

The room was excellent. It was the suite with a living room and bedroom separate by the bathroom . My husband and I were impressed, comfortable and happy with our room . The only disadvantage was that the safe didn’t work, snd one of the bathroom light bulbs went out. Otherwise our stay was great. We wanted to book another night but the rooms were all booked

upsides: The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The pool was heated and the area was nice and well maintained. good location close to the airport, freeway, shops and restaurants etc. downsides: The walls were very thin, and you can hear everything going on in the other hotel rooms. The TV was small. The rooms all face out to the parking lot, with the thin walls and windows you could hear every car pulling up and person walking to their room.

First impression was excellent, thank you Reilly who greeted me at the front desk. Checkin was easy and convenient. Great location easy out and free parking was a plus. Quick trip so on and out.

This location was actually really nice. The pool area and room was nice and clean. Unfortunately they placed us in a room directly under another room that was under construction. We did jot get to sleep in on any of the days we spent there. Construction started at 8am sharp with loud machinery directly above us. In addition to the construction there were a number of guests screaming and shouting at 8am on Saturday. They also played music so loud our walls vibrated. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights Wednesday-Saturday. Thursday morning construction 8am Friday morning construction/loud guests 8am Saturday morning loud guests 8am. Unfortunately hotel staff was unable to get the noise under control for the entirety of our stay which resulted in us being exhausted coming home from what was suppose to be a relaxing vacation.

Wew were in California to attend our daughters graduation and this hotel was close to them. The place was clean and most of the staff were frindly and helpful. There was some remodeling going on so we were woke up at 7:00 am. They do not clean your room on an extended stay except for every 3 days (for evviromental reasons which I think is a crock) so we had to ask for clean towels a couple of times. It is pet friendly which was nice and they had grass away from the buildings for the dog to do his thing.

This is not a hotel. It is an open courtyard motel. The staff were fine but the other guests were loud and rude, not the motels fault but this is in the ghetto and the guest were the ghetto hood rats

I’ve stayed here often - property is well maintained, clean and staff is helpful. Prices affordable. My room had a fridge but no microwave. Feel this is needed to make it more family friendly.

Walls are paper thin. Our room was next to the laundry and the parties above us where heavy footed we actually had to complain to management. The add looks nicer then the actual hotel. Would not stay there again and feel that hotels dot com always buts us next to laundry or elevator. Disappointing
