The room was clean and smoke-free upon arrival which was nice. There were a couple of issues I ran into. The front-desk clerk gave me the wrong room number at the outset. I had to go back and get the correct number. The lights had an auto-sense switch which was programmed to go on and off in an inconvenient manner. The bathtub would flood during my shower and take hours to drain. The room was not made up during the day so getting fresh towels and linen was an additional hassle. Otherwise it was relatively quiet and was a place to stay on my business trip.

One of the reasons we stay at Best Westerns as a family is for the free breakfast, but we told when we were checking in since they were remodeling there would be no breakfasts. This would’ve been nice to know before we made our reservation. We would’ve stayed at a different hotel. We count on the free breakfasts as part of our budget for the trip. It was very disappointing. The staff however, did offer us a small discount as compensation. However this was very disappointing. Also, we needed to switch rooms because the water in the shower fluctuated from very hot to very cold and was not only uncomfortable, but also very dangerous. Once again, the staff was very accommodating, and all of the staff was always very friendly, helpful, and efficient. we also really enjoyed the courtyard, the pool in the hot tub. The gardens outside the patio and in the courtyard were very nice and well kept. The pool was warm and lovely and clean. So is the hot tub. Overall, the property was nice, clean and pleasant, but it is old and definitely in need of renovations and updates which they are currently working on.

After checking in, suddenly there was a knock on the door and the person knocking (staff) opened the door without waiting for us to open . When taking a shower the temperature went from perfect to scalding hot to icy cold back to scalding hot. To top it off the light in the bathroom turned off while in the shower though i was not in there that long.

Room was neat and clean enough, but the walks weren’t well maintained as there was chipping paint. The outlets didn’t work well. The TV stand was scuffed. They were not serving the breakfast they had advertised. This room was close to $300 and not worth it.

Funky room, filthy carpet, phone did not work, etc. Old, tired facility. Turned me off to Best Western after this as my first BW stay.

Only reason not a 5 was because we had to drive or Uber downtown. But, a great overall experience with great service and beautiful courtyard with pool a d jacuzzi

Walls in this hotel are paper thin. Noise from other guests, including kids shouting and doors slamming - was a big problem until very late at night and started again very early in the morning. Location is not from walking distance to anything, so all in all I cannot recommend this hotel for any reason!

Centrally located. Plenty of parking, well lit. Rooms have pool view and a patio or balcony area with a small table and chairs. The breakfast was a bit on the light side, but enough to tide us over until we went out and about. Would stay here again.

Everything was great... Just a note: The info guide in the room stated that breakfast started at 6 AM. In actuality, breakfast started at 7 AM. The people working there were quite accommodating.

This place is a bit tired. Although everything was clean, overall conditions were not so good…mainly related to the bathroom. The toilet was not securely fastened to the floor, so it rocked when you sat in it. The tub stopper did not work to hold water in the tub, so you couldn’t really have a bath. And the shower was equally sad…the shower head stream was not at all strong or consistent. Just overall not a great bathroom experience. In addition, the TV and phone did not work. Management explained that the satellite TV service was not working due to heavy cloud cover, but even when it cleared up a bit, there was no TV service…so it seemed like maybe they just hadn’t paid their DirectTV bill or something. And their “breakfast included” bit is a bit of a joke…they should call it snacks rather than breakfast…mini cold cereal boxes, granola bars, etc., and coffee. The front desk staff were very nice but the motel itself is just kind of tired…could use some freshening. Just keep your expectations kind of low here and you’ll be fine.

I enjoyed the pool area. The balcony was perfect for evening sunsets and Morning ciffee. The staff was very polite and helpful . I would definitely stay there again when i am back In Santa Barba.

hotel looked like it was closed. drove by twice and half of it is shut down. The room needs a lot of work. & am noise from workers and cleaning crews are way to early. Toilets would'nt flush until 3rd try.. I could go on but whats the use. I will not stay at Best western + again, completley dicusted with this property.
