We absolutely loved HarbourView Inn for our quick overnight on our way back up north from florida. I splurged on this hotel since we were traveling Mother’s Day weekend and it was worth every penny. The smell of the lobby, the wine & cheese evening, the cookies and milk, free breakfast in our room. All such fantastic touches. The room was enormous and beds plush. We will absolutely be returning for a longer stay !

The location is fantastic! and walking distance to great restaurants and tourist locations, but also a quick uber to other great neighborhoods.

Hotel is a fabulous position for walking to everything including sea front and market square. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need. We had a balcony room which was wonderful. The staff were wonderful and welcoming. The hotel offered so many extra like we have never experienced before including a walking tour, wine and cheese and breakfast in your room or location you choose. We absolutely loved this hotel.

Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything. Staff was very welcoming and the wine and snacks every evening and room service breakfast that was included was such a treat. Worth the money.

It was nice but the view is being blocked by a huge building being built next door. Outside our room was trash dumpsters, porta johns, construction equipment. Maybe after the construction it will be better. It is a great convenient location within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants.

The perfect location with a balcony over looking the harbor. the room was great and included a 5pm snacks/drinks and 9pm milk and cookies! Right in the historic district and a 5 minute walk to everything,

Great stay for a one-night lodging before our cruise out of the Charleston Port. Hotel staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Atmosphere was very welcoming throughout the entire hotel. Will definitely book again here when we return to Charleston.

We had a wonderful stay. The customer service was amazing. The room and other areas were clean and nice. It is too bad that the view of the Charleston Harbor is now blocked by a huge and ugly hotel that is being built. The City of Charleston made a big zoning mistake with that one.

This stay is in the heart of Charleston. I
Its beautiful and clean. Staff was hospitality at its best. Probably the best hotel shower ever. You have a waterfall shower head on one side with a removable shower head on the otherside for a body shower or just that handheld to get hard to reach places. The rooms come with robes and a choose your own breakfast. They had a wine and cheese hour along with a late night snack of milk and cookies to end the night. Check out is 12:00pm noon. You have plenty of time to wake up and get yourself ready for the day without feeling rushed. We stayed the night before we caught our cruise ship. It was fantastic. If theres anything I can complain about is the parking. I'm on crutches so parking was important and i chose this location because parking was listed. Theres only a few street parking spots and the parking garage where we parked wasnt conveniently close. On crutches it was difficult. They have a few valet spots for 40.00 but they are also limited. The parking garage is 2.00 an hour so I'm hoping it maxes out at an amount. Theres a door man so people cant just come inside. We felt very safe and comfortable. You wont be disappointed

Christmas is the perfect time to visit Charleston, especially with a stay at the HarbourView Inn! On Christmas Eve, we enjoyed complimentary appetizers, wine and a specialty cocktail in the lobby while listening to Dickens Carolers singing. Santa and Mrs. Clause stopped by to join us for milk and cookies. Our boys loved it!
The hotel rooms are large with good storage space. Fantastic restaurants are located nearby (Magnolia was amazing!). It was a short walk to a number of tourist sites.

Very charming quaint hotel. A bed and breakfast feel to it, with a cute roof top patio. Complimentary breakfast every morning, it was very good. Happy hour with cheese, fruits and wine every night, and milk and cookies from 9-10p every night. The sitting rooms had coffees and juices out all day. Board games in one of the sitting rooms. Staff was very friendly. Location was great. We walked to all the restaurants for dinner, took a bike taxi to the aquarium. The hotel is definitely a great spot to stay on a visit to Charleston.

We had a great time in Charleston. The HarbourView Inn is ideal for walking through the historic sections of Charleston. The staff was very helpful. The wine & cheese, and cookies and milk sessions each day are unique features to this hotel.

Overall very nice place in a great location and a great view of the pier and fountain—we were able to see dolphins from our room! Was very cleanly, great service, and nice touches with complimentary breakfast delivered to your room. The only downside was some of the noise. Throughout the night and morning about every 5-10 minutes, something with the heating or cooling system in the hotel would turn on, rattle, and make noise throughout the room. Sometimes it was quiet and would get drawn out by the noise of the fan, other times it did wake us up in our sleep it was so loud. There was also construction going on across the road at a hotel, but honestly don’t think we heard any noise from that. Overall a great place to stay and would stay again!
