We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we entered the building. Staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful. Great location close to two entrances to Earls Court train station, ideal base for getting around. High street with shops and eating places at the end of the road. Room was modern, clean, quiet, comfortable. Large shower and fluffy towels. Would definitely recommend and return.

I booked a single room and I knew it will be small. It was small with a single bed (which was comfy) on the lower ground floor. The room was clean the for the size of the room the shower was decent size and had Rituals shower/shampoo. Room's A/C temp was set by the reception which was strange. The hotel is very near Earls Court tube station and near restaurants and cafes. I will stay there again if the price was reasonable but I will opt for a larger room. If you want an upper floor room please book the right room as it might be possible to get one if you don't like ground floor rooms.

From the first moment to the last the service was fantastic. Particular mention must go to Tallulah & the hard-working head waitress at breakfast.
Really good team-spirit here!
I’ll return 100%

Great short stay location. Perfectly located right around the corner from the tube station. Coop, burger king and McDonald's within a minutes walk. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you

Great hotel! Lovey staff and great location. Clean and good amenities. Quite a small room but that is the standard for most London hotels.

Hotel itself was in a good location, very clean and modern. We didn't get the room we booked and instead received what can only be described as a shoe box. Smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. I had to climb onto the bed from the bottom as it was up against the wall. Bathroom was tiny.
The hotel staff blamed this on Hotels.com for over-booking rooms and offered a refund of £20! The money was not the issue, if I wanted a smaller cheaper room, I would have booked one!

The staff here are welcoming, and always recognize me by name. This is my third year time to use the property in two months, and I will continue to choose this hotel. It’s been freshly decorated with excellent style, and the breakfast is superb. Location is great too—near many good restaurants and pubs to unwind after a busy day. Cannot more highly recommend,
Bear.

The room was small but nice. Especially as it was a reward night and it was practically free. The shower pressure was great and the room was warm. The single bed was small but comfortable. I would stay again paying fill price.

Lovely clean hotel, breakfast was great, staff were very good. Room was tiny which was disappointing as we didn't book a Standard room. I would stay here again, great location for us

I've been to London around 40 times and the Mornington was my favorite place to stay so far. The staff made the difference, going out of their way to help my brother and I enjoy our trip. It was my birthday so we stayed in the small hotel bar a few of the nights while I drank enough to subdue a small elephant, and the staff was friendly and as nice as could be. The location is also perfect - about a 3 minute walk from the Tube station that goes directly to Heathrow and also goes directly to Picadilly and Westminster without changing lines. The neighborhood has many restaurants, cafe's, and bars, and a few convenience stores and markets.
Of course the rooms are small by American standards but I've stayed in smaller ones in London.
Overall I'd recommend this place to anyone going to London due to the 24/7 staffed front desk, amazing customer service skills on the team, and perfect location.

Good facilities. Very clean, helpful staff. Ask for a larger bathroom if you need disabled access.

Bad Wi-Fi connect, disappointed of staff and service. Room is clean.

The room on LG level was so tiny that there was no space for luggage. The shower door has a design flaw, and it is impossible to close it when you are in the shower. The desk telephone was not working (problem connecting). The construction smell is still all around. The night shift at reception can only giggle watching you pulling luggage up the entry steps and through the door. Morning shift at the reception was nicer and more apologetic.

We arrived at night and the receptionist told us to go in another room from the one that we were supposed to be. The room was on the lower ground floor where they were doing maintenance work. So, it was very noisy in the morning from 7am and we didn’t manage to sleep properly. Also, the fire alarm rang twice early in the morning which made it impossible to rest after our trip. The ACT and the air condition was not working in the room and when we asked the receptionist to change she told us that we could do that the next day. I am really dissatisfied with their service as we should have been able to change room straight instead of having such a night of discomfort.

I liked the location, we could walk to the tube and hop on hop off buses. Food and shopping were close. I loved the comfortable bed and tub. Didn't like that we paid for breakfast and one morning they weren't open early enough to enjoy it. Breakfast was great the mornings we ate able to eat there.

Super close to the subway station so it's easy to get around. A lot of diing and store options close by too. The one thing I will note is that service at this place was eh... room service made the bed but that's about it. Never took any trash from the room or changed the sheets. It's also not fully staffed all the time so you need to ask reception if you want a drink from the bar. Really boutique style hotel...

Nicely designed, very inviting and a cozy atmosphere, close to train station.

The rooms are small but all you need for a place to sleep. It was clean and nice enough for a place to spend the night. The location is awesome. But the air conditioning in the room had an error code every few hours - so sleeping at night the room got boiling hot and with 2 people in tiny room was a bit rough.

The room I occupied was extraordinarily small. There was no where to hang clothes or even fully open my suitcase. I would not want to stay here again

I recently had the displeasure of staying at the Mornington London Kensington, BW Premier Collection, and I cannot emphasize enough how disappointing this experience was. While the hotel has a good location, it was overshadowed by a slew of issues that made my stay far from enjoyable.
First and foremost, the staff at this hotel left much to be desired. From the moment I arrived, they were consistently rude and unhelpful. It felt like I was an inconvenience to them rather than a paying guest. Their lack of courtesy and willingness to assist with even the simplest requests left a sour taste in my mouth.
The housekeeping service at this hotel was nothing short of atrocious. My room was never properly cleaned during my stay. The linens were not changed, and the bathroom was left in a messy and unhygienic state. I couldn't help but wonder if they had forgotten about my room altogether.
One of the most unpleasant aspects of my stay was the terrible smell in some of the rooms. It was as if the hotel had a persistent odor problem that they were unwilling or unable to address. This not only made my stay uncomfortable but also left me concerned about the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the property.
While I appreciate the convenient location of the Mornington London Kensington, it was simply not enough to outweigh the multitude of issues I encountered during my stay. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice and explore other options in the area. T

The staff was very kind and helpful.

The stay was great, it is evident they have tried to squeeze in as many rooms as possible. When i first arrived i was given a room where the small bed was closed in by walls on the head, foot and side of the bed. As a 6 foot 7 individual i couldnt fit in the tiny bed they gave me, so they moved me to a room where the end of the bed was open for my feet to hang off of. Unfortunately in said room the ceiling wasnt high enough for me to stand in. I was happy with my service, it just isnt a place for giants.

Great standard in a great location to a good price. Very pleased with our stay!

Hotel was under construction, which we had not been told beforehand. Jackhammers in operation literally just outside our window on the ground floor. AC didn't work. The electrical circuit-breakers kept going off and we were told this was because we were using extension cords. We were told that no extension cords were allowed. There were no electrical outlets on the side of the room with the bed, so this was unworkable. If there are only outlets on one wall, you have to allow extension cord use. Common sense. Just one small wardrobe for all of our our clothes, with no closet. Rooms were new and clean, but dusty, probably from the construction work. When we told the front desk we had to leave and book another hotel, we were told we would be charged for that first night, even though we only stayed a total of 3 hours.

Tried to cancel this reservation once the hotel informed us that there was renovations ongoing. Was advised renovations would be completed weeks before we arrived.
First room we were placed in was so small could barely move, was also next to the construction office which was in full swing every morning at 7am.
Full renovations were still underway.
Leak in the roof of our first room, we were moved from the basement to the 3rd floor which was a little quieter and a tiny bit more Spacious. Sink in the bathroom was super small, this room had a water leak coming in through the light in the roof of the bathroom.
All in all not up to the quality claimed

This hotel has been renovated/new construction and it didn’t seem done. Our closet door had holes where a door handle should be for example.
Check in was 2:00. One of the rooms still wasn’t ready at 4:00. There was a couch and chair in the little hall to the bathroom which you had to maneuver to get into the bathroom. No clue why they were there. We were told we weren’t allowed to use the balcony as it’s a suicide risk, yet there was furniture there.

It seems our room was newly renovated and there was still some building work going on outside the window. The toilet has some interesting features 1) no hooks for towels 2) no toilet roll holder 3) Very, very small sink that had no plug to stop water running out 4) a sink mixer tap that had to be turned through the cold (gushed out and soaked you) before getting warm. Interestingly no TV in the room which might put some people off?
3.0
Great hotel, renovated. Room has AC unit, flat screen TV, modern shower and comfortable bed. Seconds from Earls Court tube station which takes you to/from LHR and to/from Central London with no connection. Staff very friendly, would definitely stay again
4.0
The hotel is well located only a 3 minute walk to Earls Court underground and the surrounding shopping and eating area.
The hotel is undergoing renovations and we found our room was incomplete in some ways including the lack of a door handle on the walk in closet, no towel rails or hooks in the bathroom, no soap tray or a shelf in the shower.
The Airconditioning did not work in our room and there was wet paint on some of the door areas in narrow corridors leading to the room that had to be avoided.
In saying this we found the room spacious and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and enjoyed our stay.
I would have expected the rooms to be discounted bearing in mind the fact that we we’re staying in a construction site with lots of hammering and other construction work going on each day

The hotel was being refurbished , but if Im paying London ( Wimbledon week ) prices , I expect hot water in my shower , a TV and an ability to make a cup of tea.

Property was in a good, accessible location. Rooms were newly renovated. Only problem was the random alarm that went off at 5am. The wifi was very slow from our room
2.0
A little disappointed. Renovation work not all complete, so things missing in room (ie second bedside table) - a bit rough round the edges for a refurb and then no hot water for showers in the morning. These are basics and that is what we remember. That said, beds were comfortable and staff lovely...just expected more for price we paid.
