I was welcomed at the front desk by a young man whose name was Wren. He was very professional and assisted me accordingly. Gave me some ideas about restaurants in the area and everything was relatively close. All of the weather was hot I preferred to walk and everything was great within a 10th of a mile and more. I took a gray line tour of the city and it was very enjoyable, there's a lot of history in Savannah. The bed in the hotel was awesome extremely comfortable and I slept like a baby. Very friendly staff very helpful. And when I checked out early, the front desk agent was very helpful also. She explained the refund process to me and how it worked because I had gone through Expedia. Expedia also did a great job. Thank you to the Thunderbird Inn, my next stay in Savannah will be with your hotel. By the way traffic goes by the hotel and can be loud, but when you're with someone or your TV is on or you fall asleep you don't even hear it. It is an old style Hotel, but very comfortable. Thank you again to the staff for the great stay I had.

The room was very clean and the shower had a good water pressure. I liked the charm and retro feel of the place. Take note that there are no elevators and there is only 1 ice machine on the first floor.

cool old school hotel with newer amenities. loved the rc cola and moon pies. Will definitely be back.
