We loved it there. The rooms are beautifully done. The help is unbelievably friendly. The wine and cheese served at 4 was wonderful nd the breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend staying there,

We have stayed at the Harbour House a number of times but not for a few years. It is still as good as it has always been previously. We will be back again soon I hope.

It was nice with the fireplace in the room, plus the Nespresso coffee machine and whirlpool tub. I found it a little disappointing, that given the price, the breakfast less attractive than a highway motel.

Our stay at the Harbour House was fantastic. We were greeted with a very warm welcome, the added treat of cookies was a nice surprise. The added virtual concierge was incredibly helpful and a nice personal touch to give advice for things to do and places to eat etc. Just a quick text on your cell. The building is more like a quaint, cozy home away from home feel. The view of the harbour is beautiful. Our room was beautiful with a king bed, cozy feature fireplace, small sitting area and a mini fridge. The bathroom had a big shower and a huge jetted tub. Breakfast in the morning was one of the most delicious breakfast we have had for a free breakfast. The service was also just so friendly and helpful, reminded me of visiting my Mom. Easily walkable to town, the area is just stunning with lots of trails and walk along the water. We look forward to visiting again in the spring and will definitely stay at the harbour house again.

Please be mindful-- this is a pet friendly establishment. If you are looking for peace and quiet this may not be the place for you. We stayed on first floor and as soon as we got into our room, there was a dog that was constantly barking because the owners left the dog in the room alone while they went out. The same dog started barking at 7:30am, so we didn't really get to sleep in at all. There were also dogs barking all evening long as the owner kept their window open so every little noise, the dog would start barking. Its one thing to take advantage of a pet friendly hotel (if you don't have a sitter or don't want to leave your dog home alone for the weekend or your onroute travelling) but the owners need to be more accountable and responsible for the animal. I called the hotel staff a couple times to complain about the barking however, I feel the staff should be more on top of guests whose dogs are disturbing everyone else. Although the property itself was very nice and well kept, its not a cheap place to stay. I think for the prices the hotel is charging, they should definitely rethink offering it as a pet friendly hotel especially when you are marketing the hotel as a quiet, tranquil place to get away to relax and unwind. We were a little disappointed because we definitely wanted to get away after the holidays for some peace and quiet and it was exactly the opposite unfortunately.

We loved our stay at Harbour House except for the dog policy. Most guests with dogs were ok, except there was a barking dog on our floor one evening that barked continuously for over an hour! Think maybe the people left the dog alone, which should not be allowed as it was extremely disturbing! We did complain the next morning.

Had issues with the room the staff were nice they took money off the bill but at 400 a night I expect the room to be a lot nicer. The shower head was broken the glasses had lip marks and the sheets weren’t cleaned properly. We stayed at the holiday inn express in bowmanville a couple days later and the room was cleaner and all amenities worked as they should. So with “the harbour house” being so much more expensive they can at least clean the damn rooms. At least

We had an absolute great stay at Harbour House. The staff was amazing and attentive. Loved the 4 o'clock happy hour with wine and cheese. We took advantage of the shuttle to take us to dinner. Our room was very spacious and loved the fireplace! Walking distance to everything downtown and beautiful views of the water. We took long walks both mornings to explore the parks along the water and the beautiful neighborhoods. We will definitely go back!

The hotel was great but it was wayyyyy too HOT and dry. We couldn't sleep. It was November and we had the window open and the cool air on but there was no cool air coming out. I think the heat is controlled by the front desk. Other than that, it was really nice. Beautiful area, right beside the marina and you can walk along the water or right to the water. It is a nice walk right to the downtown area...less than 10 mins with a nice view along the water front area. You end up walking right beside an open area of the water with a gazebo to take some nice pictures.

The staff was delightful and the hotel was conveniently located to shopping, dining, and the water view. Our room needed much updating and the shower was gross! Major mildew in the grout was unacceptable. The ceiling was peeling from moisture in the bathroom.

Harbour House is a wonderful accommodation located between the Lake Ontario waterfront and Main Street Niagara-on-the-Lake. My room was spacious and very well appointed, and the staff were all warm and welcoming !

We arrived in the evening after negotiating the road closures in New York state after a snow storm. We arrived tired and hungry. However, there were no restaurants still open so we ate some small items we had in the car.. When I took a shower, I couldn't see how the various shower heads worked, when my husband called the desk, they gave him directions for a whirlpool tub. The breakfast was good. Would have liked to stay longer.

This is a lovely small hotel which has the feel of a bed and breakfast in beatiful Niagara on the Lake.. It is easy walking distance to the Lake, the center of town and al of the best wineries. Our room was large and updated with all necessary conveniences. All of the employees were helpful and charming and a shuttle into twon was always available to avoid late night walks back from dinner, although we found it a bid odd that everytime we went to the front desk there was a different person there. This was a very pleasant place to stay in a very nice little town. If I have any criticism it is that the included breakfast could be enhanced a bit. Every item including the only available entry was the same both days we were there. I suggest grabbing a cup a joe, stroll into town and have breakfast there.

A great place to spend a long weekend or an entire week! The staff was super friendly, and the hotel was clean and updated. We had our 2 Corgis with us and they were very very accommodating and pet friendly. We enjoyed their complementary breakfast and enjoyed the location of the hotel… it was near the water and very close to the walkway along Lake Ontario leading to the parks. The hotel was only a couple blocks from downtown. Highly recommended!
