The Pearl is great hotel, with very spacious rooms, friendly staff, perfect location for going to dinner and the theatre.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The problem was the in-room heating/AC unit was so loud that it woke up us in the middle of night.

very old, in need of urgent renovation, noisy A/C, bedding reminiscent of the 80s, appears to be a 3-star hotel, at most. These notes on the website must be scams

The front desk people were nice and friendly and the bellhop were helpful with directions.

Very central for Times Square and Broadway, but still quite tranquil
Very nice service, great rooms and beds, complimentary wine between 5-6 pm in the lobby, quiet rooms which is a plus

Great hotel - comfy. Continental breakfast and afternoon wine. Close to Times Sq and Broadway shows. Will be back.

Nice hotel in a nice location.

Great hotel in a great location. The Pearl is clean and comfortable. The location is great, just around the corner from Times Square. The complimentary breakfast is great and constantly topped up. They also have a free wine happy hour between 5-6pm.

I have stayed at the Pearl previously and really enjoyed my stay. There have been a few changes to the snack/ breakfast service times and location and the wine offering. It all used to be held on the second floor and snacks were vailable 24 hrs a day but now is only avail. 7 am to 10 am. Snacks are located in the back corner of the lobby and selection isnt as good as once was. The wine offering is now held in the hotel lobby which isnt as nice as the second floor location. Overall a good experience though because these perks are a nice addition to the Pearl experience!

Loved our stay at The Pearl! So close to theatres and various subway lines. Easy walk Time square and Hell’s Kitchen. Staff were excellent and very willing to help with arrangements. The breakfast was simple but perfect, and the happy hour was great after a full day of walking. Would absolutely go back.

My experience was beyond expectation. Staff was accommidating and friendly. Pearl is in a location where you can walk to everything.
This was my first stay at Pearl and it won't be the last!

Staff was veryhelpful. Wine hour was exceptional. Right next door to theaters and restaurants.

This hotel is the place to stay if you are coming to NYC for theater. This little hotel has a friendly and knowledgeable staff. We arrived 2 hours before check-in, so we headed off to lunch. We were pleasantly surprised when the front desk called to say our room was ready and to return anytime. Afternoon wine and 24 hr coffee and snacks add a nice touch. Other reviews say the breakfast is nothing special but we loved it. Bagels are fresh and flavorful. Coffee was hot and tasty.
The Empire Steakhouse next door is participating in NYC Restaurant Week. Get the bacon starter and the Filet. Yum
We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, you can walk to Times Square, most Broadway shows, Central Park, and Rockefeller Centre. For the places you can't walk to, the subway is very close by. The rooms are very spacious (by NY standards) and the continental breakfast was quite good with excellent fresh pastries. Tons of restaurants nearby and the staff made some excellent recommendations for food and bars in the area. Can't wait to go back!

I expected a little bit more given the price and location (not to mention the star rating) but everything was very average. The wallpaper was peeling in some spots and under the bed hadn’t been cleaned in years, from the look of it. The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable either, but that’s just a personal preference.
Location is great - very central and close to the subway. I was shocked at how soundproof the room was, I didn’t hear any of the noises from outside!
The front desk staff was kind and helpful.

A nice hotel. Great staff. Rooms were quaint. Bathrooms were small, but served their purpose. Great locale for seeing a Broadway show and/or visiting Time Square.

The staff here go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They're helpful with suggestions and questions. The property is showing some signs of age/use but otherwise for NYC it's one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed at. We're already planning to make it our hotel for next year's trip.

perfect place to stay, staffs are super helpful and nice!

We had a great stay in this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and very convenient to the activities we wanted to do in the City. The breakfast was very ordinary, not much better than what one would get at a roadside hotel. But we loved the 24-hour coffee and snacks and the 5 pm wine. We were on the 14th floor and sometimes had to wait several minutes for the elevators. But once they arrived they were fast.

Great experience. Wonderful staff. Good size room. Clean. Need better bedding. Good value

We had an amazing stay at The Pearl! The facility is very nice--modern and clean but also smaller and more boutique style, which made it very comfortable. Staff was outstanding! Courteous and attentive, but also friendly and eager to assist in any way. Keagan was especially helpful, but all the staff was truly wonderful. We didn't encounter one staff member who wasn't personable and genuinely willing to assist. The continental breakfast had more variety than we expected, and it was nice to have wine and candy around happy hour as well! The location is perfect if you're interested in Times Square and other tourist spots, as well as all the Broadway shows. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again in the future.

Great service and very pleasant stay. Location was wonderful.

The hotel is located at a great location, walkable to time square, Central Park, metropolitan museum, dinning & restaurant. The property cleanness needs to be improved.

Great location
Very limited breakfast options. Paying $500 per day, breakfast should be a bit more "inspiring"...

Wonderful location and walking distance to everything you might want to see. However, the hotel was advertised as having a restaurant and room service, neither of which was accurate. There's a restaurant next door, but it's not affiliated with the hotel and doesn't offer room service. A hotel deli was also advertised, but there was no such thing. Bed was very comfortable but the rooms are TINY. Overall a good stay if you know what you are getting.

This is my fifth stay at the Pearl. We just love it. The staff is simply lovely and accommodating.

Right in the heart of Manhattan and close to everything! Great staff! Would stay again!

The sheets did not stay “tucked in to the bed. They may need a larger size. The night before we left we got 3 automated “wake up calls” around Midnight, instead of 4:45 am. I finally called and told them to turn off the wake up call.
The staff was fantastic! Very accommodating and pleasant.

Truly my favorite stay in NYC yet! So clean, spacious rooms, fantastic bathroom/shower, the entire hotel smells clean and new, the front desk-every single person no matter the time of day or night was so kind and helpful. Their car service to the airport was better than anything I’ve experienced in NYC. Walking distance to everything.

This is a beautiful hotel and the location couldn’t be better, it was the perfect place to stay for our dream NYC Christmas trip!

While the beds could be more comfortable, especially the pillows, the location of the place was good, and the service provided was exceptional!

Located on 49th St, this hotel is next to one theater and across the street from another. It is just a few blocks from Rockefeller Center and from Times Square. It is the perfect location for theater and sightseeing. The subway is also close. Aside from location, the hotel offers great amenities such as a daily happy hour, a great continental breakfast, a "GEM" room with treats and coffee and tea. Our rooms were spotless and all other areas of the hotel were equally clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. All six of us would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to NYC.

Staff was amazing, so friendly and knowledgeable on everything. Great location don’t need a car almost everything is walking distance.
6.0
Great location. Easy walking to most sites. However was very disappointed in the room itself which was described as a deluxe queen room when in fact it was a double bed. The bed did not have a fitted bottom sheet and the flat sheet wasn’t even big enough to tuck under the mattress properly. Any movement caused it to come untucked. The pillows were uncomfortable and the extra pillow was better suited for the garbage as the stuffing was loose and lumpy. The shower head sprayed horribly, the hair dryer cord was so short I had to stand up by the wall or it would come unplugged.
Robes were provided (2) yet oddly only 1 pair of slippers. TV remote worked randomly and the TV was very small. I would not stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Pearl. It was convenient to Broadway shows, Hell's Kitchen restaurants and many other restaurants, shopping, Rockefeller Center, and Times Square. We could walk thru Central Park and to the Metropolitan Museum as well. Keegan, at the front desk, is such an asset!!! He is professional, efficient, friendly, and so very helpful! Give that young man a promotion!! :) He certainly deserves it!! He went out of his way to help us with things when we were there!

This was a great spot central to multiple subway lines and a block from Times Square. We were able to access everything very easily. The Hotel itself is smaller which is great so that you aren't overwhelmed with crowds after being in crowds all day.

The hotel was very transportation central and the staff was friendly and eager to help make your stay stress free.
