quick walk into the downtown, Very comfortable bed and maybe the best shower ever.
Mini bar was free, decent snacks and drinks. 1 small complaint, there was only 1 chair in the bedroom, 1 person had to sit on the bed and the other in the chair while we had our wine. Overall top notch hotel that I would go back to in a heartbeat

We recently stayed at the Market Street Hotel and had a mixed experience. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which was very much appreciated. The facilities themselves are lovely, and the hotel has a beautiful overall atmosphere and location.
Unfortunately, the housekeeping and maintenance standards did not match the quality the hotel presents. The shower contained visible black mold, which was disappointing in an otherwise upscale property.
In addition, a sharp metal piece of trim had fallen off in the bathroom. Each day it was stood back up by housekeeping, but maintenance was never contacted to properly reattach or repair it, despite it being an obvious safety concern.
While the room was tidied daily, the garbage bins were often not emptied.
Overall, the hotel has great potential because of its excellent staff and beautiful property, but greater attention to cleanliness and maintenance details is needed to fully meet expectations.
