Very close to main attractions. Clean and very small room. Good breakfast.

the room was forgotten to be cleaned on the first day. the room is located in another building which is sharing the same floor with the toilets of bar. unfortunately it smells. because of the customers, it was noisy. highly disappointing experience...

Quite good , good to stay. All attractions are within walk distance. People are nice .

No one at the counter for 15 minutes, no bathroon for guests, told we had to unzip our beds to get Twins beds, no linen for two mattresses, towels were stained. After a long day traveling it took 1.5 hours to make the room livable.

Right next door to The Three Sisters and amidst university student accommodation so felt lively and friendly. My room was at the back so very quiet. Breakfast great with full Scottish option including haggis. All the staff friendly.

Nice, but did not know that it was in a college area. Music was loud until 3 am.

This hotel is not for families. The music from the bar below played until one in the morning every night. Its location was hard to get to and you had to walk through the bar to get to your room. There was a large spider in the bunk beds and the bathroom door has no locking fixture so there is no privacy. We would never stay here again nor recommend it.

The bad: wifi was almost nonexistent for our four night stay The good: staff, especially Cleo were really great! Convenient location, close to the Royal Mile.

This property is one (baby) step up from a hostel. A/C was nonexistent, flooring was a hazard (especially at night), and it was in a sketchy area.

Everything was great except the room was very hot.

My group stayed in the 4 bedroom, we had to deal with mold. The shower tile was disgusting. A little help on. know how the lighting system worked would have been helpful. Cute place though. The music was playing from the bar, but not so bad that we couldn’t fall asleep

Had a great time, very fun part of town, very friendly staff. Room worked perfectly for what needed, and the late night-music was not bothersome to us. The mold in the bathroom needed attention or we'd have given a higher rating.

Similar to other reviews, the location of this accommodation is very central and is well located to a lot of tourist spots and food/drinks. The only thing to consider when booking this accommodation is the noise. Whilst we were staying at time of the international festival, we did find it quite noisy and hard to get a decent night sleep. In saying that the accomodation was nice, very clean and the staff were lovely.

The hotel is very centrally located and the discounted parking is a great deal. We loved the decor and the general funky ambiance but they provide earplugs for a reason. The club next door was very noisy!

great location. centrally located in Grassmarket neighborhood - you can walk to city centre (10min) and train station (10-15 min). Only complaint is wifi was very spotty in the rooms so had to be in main area to get business level wifi. I liked that the hotel had a main lobby where you can sit, read, work, congregate comfortably. there is also a happening bar next door called Three Sisters if you want to grab a drink ad dance late hours

My daughter, grandson and I had a wonderful time. It was so close and convenient to everything!!

The staff were kind and helpful. The location was not what I expected. It was in a run down area and difficult to find. Taxi access was difficult. The breakfast was sub standard.

It sure is central - right in the old town, walking distance from everything. However the property has issues: moldy bathroom ceiling, noise from the street (included earplugs were a warning), minuscule window, difficult access up stairs when carrying luggage. The pictures online are not an accurate reflection of what we got.

We loved the layout for our family of four. It was one of the only hotels we could find with enough beds for four people in one room. Two double beds (the standard for Edinburgh hotel rooms) was not going to cut it for four full-size folks. At Stay Central, we each got a bed! The price was right. Some mold on the bathroom ceiling from steam and the shower was clogged and filled up quickly, but otherwise the hotel room was very clean and we felt comfortable. We didn't love the frosted glass door - more privacy would be preferred. And, when a hotel leaves you complementary ear plugs, there's a reason! We laid awake listening to the nightclub beats from 12am - 2am. But all in all, we just needed a bed for a night and this did the trick!

This property was in a convenient location just minutes from Waverly train station. The windows were triple paned which kept out the noise of a lively beer garden below. Clean and beds were very comfortable.

If you were expecting a place where you might be able to get a good night sleep, this is not the place to stay. This is ‘party central’ and there is no escape. It was so bad that I just left.

Nothing I like about this property. The bathroom looks worn out. The glass door of the bathroom does not have privacy for a grown up family group. Silly design..

This is a noisy party hotel which was fine but the fire alarm when off at 1 am with no response from staff. They seemed to know of the problem but were not prepared to deal with it.

The waiting time almost two hours to get the room, it wasn’t ready after I had it booked for two weeks. The staff was very helpful, they gave me another room, but the point is why they make me wait that long. I wasn’t to happy.
