Location was good. Staff were brilliant and rooms very clean. Quiet despite a beer garden next door
Rooms were ‘claustrophobic ‘ . At the end of low ceiling hallway, the room also had low ceilings which can be confronting if you suffer from claustrophobia.

The property was nice, however, we were put in an area where it was for club and partygoers with our children and it was rated on here to go with her children as a family place! This was bookings suggestion not the hotels fault
It was really loud because there was a bar downstairs but also a bar at the side with events we wasn’t told about

We requested a room on the quieter side of the hotel, it being fairly central. We could hear almost nothing of the Edinburgh revelries, so we’re well satisfied. The room was comfortable and warm and air conditioned. Plenty of clean towels and a heated towel rail. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the beds comfortable. We didn’t have a breakfast deal, but could see that the breakfast people were eating looked substantial. We would readily stay there again.
The shower was roomy, but rather slippery, so a rubber mat would have been a welcome addition.

Really good location, fair price, like the dorm style room for a girls trip.
Room above us we’re having what sounded like band practice at 11pm, waking us all up. Had to go down to reception as the phone in the room did not work, the guy on desk handled it well and went to their room straight away to tell them to keep the noise down. Beds were really uncomfortable, and room felt a bit grubby, the rooms are really standard but you get what you’re paying for. There was a wet towel from previous guests left in the wardrobe.
